EntiÚrement rénové Septembre 2010 - de nouveaux meubles, appareils électroménagers, bain à remous, d'une télévision, tout! Cette cabine, avec 180 pieds de façade sur le fleuve Ellijay, se trouve à 25 pieds de la riviÚre sur un terrain plat de deux hectares avec aire de jeux et un grand parking ouvert seulement à 1. 5 miles au large de l'autoroute 515.

Profitez de la toute nouvelle cuisine en acier inoxydable; salle familiale avec 42 pouces HDTV qui comprend DVR et Blu-Ray lecteur DVD; cheminée avec des bûches à gaz; et des portes françaises avec des vues et des sons de la riviÚre. En dehors de la salle familiale et sur toute la longueur de la cabine est une véranda avec une table et quatre chaises sur une extrémité et une balançoire et deux planeurs sur l'autre. En bas des escaliers de la véranda profiter d'un barbecue au gaz flambant neuf et fabuleux nouveau spa de 5 personnes. Juste au bord de la riviÚre il ya un feu de camp et un hamac.

La chambre principale est Ă  l'Ă©tage principal et a un lit queen et portes-fenĂȘtres qui donnent sur la riviĂšre et peuvent ĂȘtre ouverts Ă  la vĂ©randa pour profiter des sons des rapides. Il a aussi un tĂ©lĂ©viseur HD avec magnĂ©toscope numĂ©rique et lecteur DVD, et il ya une salle de bain attenante avec douche de plain-pied.

La chambre d'hĂŽtes est sur le niveau principal et a un lit queen, sa propre HDTV, et bĂ©nĂ©ficie d'une vue sur le front ouvert, oĂč vous verrez souvent le cerf de nidification.

This cabin is exactly as pictured and had everything we wanted. The outdoor fire pit by the river was the highlight of our trip. Firewood was provided. The cabin was very clean, well taken care of and very well stocked with small appliances (Keurig & drip coffee pots), a grill, dishes, pots/pans, utensils, games & books. You can easily tell how detail oriented the owner is by her thoughtfulness - extension cords are run to each side of beds to provide plugs, separate washcloths provided for makeup removal, etc. The beds were very comfortable and sheets & towels very soft. I was amazed at how quickly responsive & cordial the owner was with all inquiries. The cabin is conveniently located between two small towns - Ellijay and Blue Ridge where there are several wineries and orchards. I would absolutely recommend!

My husband & I stayed at Water's Edge for our 10th anniversary & we were not disappointed! The place is exactly as appears in the listing. Extremely comfortable & all the amenities needed for a week stay. We spent a lot of time by the river either by the firepit or in the amazing hot tub. Perfectly situated halfway between Ellijay & Blue Ridge for an abundance of activities from hiking to antiquing, and lots of dining choices. Only thing I'd warn about is the driveway has a bit of a steep angle from the road & is gravel. If we weren't in a vehicle that had 4x4, we may not have made it back up! All in all we do recommend this property & would definitely stay again!

The cabin is very private. The cabin and lot are exactly as described and the furnishings in the cabin are comfortable, complete and beautiful. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed our weekend visit!

This cabin was everything it was described as and more. Beautiful setting, peaceful and relaxing and overall one of the best properties we’ve stayed out. The proximity to the river and the fire pit area was just perfect. Short drives to everywhere we wanted to go and the communities were all very pleasant. We hope to come back over and over.

Relaxing Getaway

My best friend and I needed a short getaway from the pressures of work, and this was the perfect place! A peaceful setting right on the Ellijay River. The cabin was just as described, clean and comfortable. Our host was a delight to work with and we will be staying here again!

Perfect, cozy river escape

My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at this property so much. We enjoyed our time here on the screened-in back porch just listening to the river flow. The hot tub was clean as well as the inside of the cabin. I would no doubt rebook this spot. 10/10!

A Peaceful Experience

We had a very peaceful experience at this cabin. Although it rained each day we were out there, it was still a very cozy and restful time. The screened-in porch was very pleasant during the rain. I sat out there and read books & listened to music. We saw a few deer and cows as well. Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. I am missing it already!

Rustic retreat!

Having been to Ellijay before we decided on this visit, we wanted to listen to the water. This was a perfect location with the river running right out back of the property. Some pros: the communication with the owner is some of the fastest and quality communication we have ever experienced. The view out back of the river, with the gorgeous pavers, fire pit, and hammock was wonderful-as it was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and we all commented on how wonderfully soft and comfy the sheets were. Also, the house does look like it is portrayed in the pictures online and the directions for what is expected of guests were right next to the door and in the folder, which was easy to follow. Lastly, the location is perfect as it's right in between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Cons: There are some holes in the screens that aren't patched which allowed a few wasps and bugs to get in and the floor is not screened or carpeted so there was the occasional geiko/lizard. The house is rustic and showing wear and tear-a few cobwebs and lots of carpenter bees (which are par for the course in this area). We did note some bugs in the cabin (again you're in the wilderness) but I would suggest not leaving food out as to keep the ants at bay. All in all, it was a nice, peaceful stay that we enjoyed and we truly appreciate the communication with the owner.

Spring Break

We loved this property and it was very easy to find. It would be hard to find a home cleaner than this property. The kitchen had everything you needed in including two different styles of coffee makers. We went so my grandson could play in the creek, but given all of the rains that had happened The creek was several feet deep and that was not an option so we just made our own fun.

Perfect Cabin!

Cabin was amazing! It was exactly as described. Very clean, tons of privacy! Loved the peacefulness of the river. Owner was very responsive and incredibly accommodating. We had a fabulous time, and so did our dogs! Want to plan another Blue Ridge trip soon and stay in this cabin again! It was absolutely, wonderfully, perfect!

Incredible Weekend

I cannot express how clean this property is. The minute we walked in the door you could tell that the owners care about providing a great experience! The cabin was wonderfully stocked and the beds were very comfortable.Communication was very prompt and courteous.The river behind the cabin is peaceful and the firepit just added to the comfort. Well done!!!

I had hoped to explore the surrounding area...and still hope to. I find myself getting to the cabin and never wanting to leave to even go to town. This cabin is located almost at the end of a dead-end road, and the solitude of sitting on the river is too fabulous to leave!
