Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kathleen's Retreat is a great house to stay in. We really enjoyed our time there. It's very roomy and comfortable. I do have a couple of suggestions though. The cookware, especially the skillets need to be replaced. The ones that are teflon coated are extremely scratched up--to the point that it is unhealthy to use. The ones that are stainless are hard to cook in because they tend to stick. Also, it would be nice to have soap, shampoo and conditioner in the showers and tubs--at least liquid body soap. Overall, I would give the rating a 4.9--

Good location but lots of public beach traffic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was stated to be 5 bedroom and 5 bathroom., which was not accurate. The house has 4 baths and a 1/2 bath for the 5th. House sleeps 18 when you count 8 people being in one bedroom. Tall ceilings in the main room that cause the sounds to echo throughout so not good for our group of 15. Previous houses rented had lots of beach toys for kids (buckets, shovels, etc). This house had none. The one plus for the house was the freight elevator for luggage and supplies. Outside furniture was comfortable.

Kathleen’s Retreat was the most accommodating for my family so far. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and the beach access is only yards away. I would definitely request this property again.
