The main floor Master bedroom offers a Queen-sized bed with a private full bath with shower. An additional Queen-sized bed is located on the main floor and there is another full bath with shower for guest use.
Use the shipman style steps to head upstairs to the spacious open loft that adds an additional queen-sized bed that kids adore! And for those who insist on getting a little work done during your stay, your desk and chair awaits. You will appreciate plenty of space to comfortably accommodate six guests. Go out, grill out, or just relax by the firepit and take in the night sky after a day of adventures and exploring this picturesque area of Kentucky. Take any number of scenic byways and soak in the rich rural landscape and rolling hills while exploring this spectacular area of Kentucky! Go spelunking in the world's longest cave system- Mammoth Cave National Park!! As you plan your route, choose one of many scenic byways for a 35mi picturesque drive to Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. The closest route even includes a unique ride across Green River on the ferry which leads you to the Mammoth Cave Visitors Center when you are ready to go spelunking!! Be sure to secure your tickets early for Mammoth Cave's popular guided cave tours as they can sell out weeks in advance. Or pick your own pace and space to enjoy miles and miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails available around and near Mammoth Cave. and Nolin Lake. The trails in this area have been a highlight and the guided horseback trips available at Double Js Stables (10mi away) are a frequent recommendation from our guests. They do stay busy, so call ahead to book your horseback riding adventures.
When you seek the thrills of ATV riding, check out the nearby Blue Holler Off Road Park (11mi). If golf is more your speed, it is worth packing your clubs for a round or two of golf at nearby Shady Hollow 18-hole course, which is another hidden treasure for our area.
Just don't forget your camera as you wander the backroads and uncover the beauty of rural Kentucky along the scenic byways! Be on the lookout for Amish buggies to share the roads and enjoy visiting the local Amish shops offering everything from coffee and ice cream to homemade wares.

During you summer stays, Nolin Lake's Wax Marina is just around the corner where you can reserve a pontoon or jet ski rental to use or visit one of the free public beaches nearby. You will also find great year-round fishing at Nolin Lake which has a reputation as one of Kentucky’s top lakes for Large Mouth Bass, White Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Walleye.

Looking for more? Make it a day within an hour away when you head to Bowling Green, KY and visit the Corvette Museum, or who could forget that you are in Bourbon country! Why not venture back in time with a visit to historic Glendale less than 30 miles away. Glendale is well known as a charming small town with antiques and unique finds with boutique style shopping. Plan to come back and visit during the Glendale Spring Festival in May or the Glendale Crossing Festival in October. Take in a history lesson with a stop at Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace National Historic Park in Hodgenville, KY.
