Stay in a bright, private 2nd-floor suite inside a beautifully preserved 1927 home in Durham’s historic Trinity Park neighborhood. Just 2 blocks from Duke East Campus and a short walk to downtown cafés, restaurants, and parks, this space is a guest favorite for its comfort, location, and charm. Enjoy a queen bedroom, flexible living room, and everything you need for a relaxed stay or remote work base.
Your hosts at Delighted Properties are local to Durham and available if anything comes up during your stay. We’re happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, trails, and local favorites throughout the Bull City. Please feel free to reach out via the messaging app or by phone if you have any questions or need recommendations.
🌳 Trinity Park & Downtown Durham
Trinity Park is one of Durham’s most sought-after historic neighborhoods, known for its early 20th-century homes, walkable streets, and strong sense of community.
From the front door, you can walk to:
• Duke University East Campus
• Downtown Durham restaurants, bars, and cafés
• Ninth Street shops and dining
• Parks, trails, and green spaces
It’s a rare pocket of calm in the city—quiet, residential, and leafy—while still being steps from everything that makes Durham vibrant.. Please feel free to reach out via the messaging app or by phone if you have any questions or need recommendations.
🔑 Guest Access
Guests have private access to the entire first-floor apartment and the covered back deck.
Shared spaces in the home include:
• The fenced backyard (shared with other apartments in the building)
• The entry foyer
• The basement laundry area, which is accessible to all four apartments in the home via the interior stairwell. The laundry space is convenient for longer stays and well-maintained for guest use.
Off-street parking for 1 vehicle is also available for guest convenience.
This second-floor suite is part of a thoughtfully divided historic home in Trinity Park. The layout reflects the character of an early 1900s residence that has been converted into separate private guest spaces.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire suite, which includes a private bedroom and a flexible adjoining living area. The living room is accessed through the home’s shared interior hallway, a feature of the original home layout that has been preserved rather than rebuilt—adding to the charm and historic feel.
Inside the suite, you’ll find:
🌙 Comfort & Sleep
• Queen bed with high-quality bedding
• Ceiling fans + quiet climate control
• White noise machine for restful sleep
💻 Work & Connectivity
• Dedicated workspace
