Stylish Flat in DT Durham-Sep A/C-downtown walkable

This cozy, comfortable downtown poolside condo is located near so much in DT Durham. It is walkable to major attractions, parks, restaurants, and entertainment venues. There are lovely outdoor spaces, comfy beds, and a charming, unique building. The first-floor condo is next to pool *CLOSED FOR SEASON*, lovely gardens, cookout areas, shuffleboard, and human-sized chessboard. Close to Duke East Campus and Duke Hospital. Business travelers welcome. Non-shedding dogs under 25lbs $87.00.

The condo is very clean, well-decorated and well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Keurig coffee and still and carbonated water are provided. Pearl Mill Flats is within easy walking distance of downtown Durham restaurants and entertainment venues (15 minute walk). My favorite restaurant, Blue Note Grill (great food and live music) is less than two blocks away. Durham Performing Arts Center and the Durham Bulls Baseball Park are about a 2-minute drive or 25-minute walk from Duke Tower. Small dog <25 pounds allowed for $87/stay. Sorry No cats allowed due to allergies.

All areas of the property are accessible to our guests. These areas include lovely gardens in the courtyard, grill and picnic areas, seating and conversation areas, shuffleboard, human-sized chess, and a large lighted pool. Unassigned parking is ample and very close to your unit. The property is protected with security cameras and ample lighting.

Though I don't live at the complex, I am available at any time, night or day to do whatever is necessary to make my guests' stay as enjoyable as it can possibly be.

Duke Tower (now called Pearl Mill Flats) was constructed from antique brick which were salvaged from a 1950's cotton mill (Pearl Mill) which stood on the same spot. It is a very unique and historic property which still has the old mill tower and smoke stack preserved on the property,

Pearl Mill Flats is one of the regular stops on the GoDurham city bus route. There are also two other stops within easy walking distance (2-3 minutes) of the complex.

The pool, decking and landscaping around it were renovated in Spring of 2017. There is a very comfortable queen sofa bed in the living room with an upgraded foam mattress. There is also a very comfortable recliner. Dog less than 25lbs pet fee $87.00. Early check-in or late checkout may be available for a $50 charge, please check with the host. Pool closes Oct 31st 2025.
