Trip to Omena

All good things to say about this trip! Check in was easy and the location was great for what we wanted. Up north, but not touristy - yet only a 15 minute drive to Sutton’s Bay if that’s your thing. We had an issue with the TV, and the owner fixed it within a very short time. Large house - it actually has a 4th bedroom - and plenty of parking as we had 3 cars. Only downside was the downstairs shower is very small, however there’s a full tub/shower upstairs. And in fact the hot water tank must be huge as we had both showers and dishwasher going at the same time! Great stay would highly recommend!

A great family vacation home

This house was very clean, spacious, large rooms and spectacular views. The hosts were very responsive to questions and quick to fix a problem we found. Loved the nearby beach, neighborhood was quiet. We hope to come again.

Family get together

Had a great stay! Beautiful house and area, looking forward to coming back next year! Close to shopping, wineries, beach and attractions. Definitely worth the trip!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful experience and would recommend and stay again. Communication with the hosts was fast and simple. One of the best-prepared houses we’ve stayed in. For the beach, there was a beach wagon, beach toys, and chairs. Inside there were board games and cards. There was a charcoal grill and firewood in the garage. The binder of information was one of the best I’ve seen with great information about the area The house itself had multiple large common areas – a larger or extended family could stay with plenty of room. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are in the basement, which is large and well-furnished as a game/social space. The location worked well for short trips to Northport, Sutton’s Bay, and Leland. Walkable to the beach in Omena (down the street and around the corner).

Omena is a quiet small town. The neighborhood is clean and serene. You will have no trouble relaxing in this beautiful setting!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Enjoy our relaxing all season room where you will have views of Omena Bay. Take a hike around the Isthmus of Omena in the exclusive Omena Woods trail. The trail head is right across the street. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house. The local restaraunt and bar is also a 5 minute walk. We also have a firepit in the backyard as well as a charcoal grill. Just a short drive in either direction will take you to two other quaint "Up North" Michigan towns. So much to see and do!
