Charmant appartement en duplex espagnol, 1 bloc de la plage!

Réveillez-vous au son des vagues qui s'écrasent sur la plage, prenez votre planche de surf et descendez vers le meilleur spot de surf de la baie du Sud. Ou simplement respirez l'air frais de l'océan et savourez le temps ensoleillé parfait et l'attitude décontractée qui font la renommée de la Californie du Sud. Il y a d'excellents restaurants à distance de marche et un Strand qui s'étend au nord et au sud sur 26 miles le long de la plage. Si vous préférez un style de vie actif, vous n'aurez pas besoin de voiture!

Notre duplex confortable a été construit en 1932 et rénové au cours des dernières années, mais nous avons réussi à conserver tous les éléments de charme. Il y a un luxueux matelas queen-size tempurpedic dans la chambre avec des oreillers contour du cou. Les portes-fenêtres de la chambre mènent à une terrasse confortable avec un coin repas extérieur. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour créer un repas fantastique. La salle familiale comprend un canapé sectionnel confortable et un centre de divertissement avec un téléviseur HD à écran plat de 40 pieds. Nous avons câblé l'endroit avec le câble haute vitesse Frontier FIOS gratuit et Internet sans fil. Les planchers sont en bois franc et carreaux partout. La salle de bain a été entièrement rénovée en 2016 et comprend une douche debout.

Clean, Cozy and Charming Getaway at Manhattan Beach, CA

Great getaway studio apartment, well maintained and very clean. We loved the access to the washer/dryer and the housekeeping every two weeks. Well stocked kitchen with many pots and pans. Just steps to the beach, we hardly missed the gorgeous sunsets. Neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The Wi-Fi, dvr and TV was very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this location!

Cozy retreat for two one block from beach

This charming little hidden gem is perfectly located one block from the beach and is only about 10 min from LAX. It was exactly as pictured on the website, very clean, quiet, well stocked, and the owner was quickly responsive to a few questions. We never needed heat or air because the temperature was perfect! Loved the hardwood floors and tile and ceiling fans. Having a washer and dryer available was also very convenient. The wifi, dvr and TV also made it easy to stay connected. The location was very walkable to all of MB. Since we stayed for over a month, we joined the Easton Gym, which is only four blocks away. Awesome classes and equipment. We frequented the Fish Bar on Highland, also only a few blocks away. The proximity to the beach made daily walks on the strand and down to the pier a breeze. After discovering a weekly Tuesday Farmers Market, we walked down to 13th St each week, for the freshest CA produce and food stands, then stopped in at Lemonade on Manhattan Beach Blvd, for a fresh lemonade before we walked back to our little place. There is also a Trader Joe's on Rosecrans, about 5 min away. Access to the 405 and 105 is also nearby, which made zipping over to Hollywood quite easy to visit our daughter. We also toured the USS Iowa in Long Beach, drove up to the Simi Valley, checked out great restaurants in nearby Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Santa Monica and Malibu are just up the PCH. There was so much to do and see, or if we wanted to just relax we just did that too. The only major problem we had was at the very end of our stay, and that was we didn't want to leave!!! We would highly recommend this property.

Great spot, close to a beautiful beach

This studio apartment was perfect for our stay, exactly as advertised, clean and well provisioned. The Tempurpedic mattress was a huge selling point for us, just like home. Really nice having a washer and dryer at our disposal too. Jeanette was great answering any questions or concerns we had, very easy to work with. Just a short walk down the street, to the Strand, and a beautiful beach beyond. Great for whale and dolphin watching, or sitting and watching all the surfers and volleyball players. The Fishouse restaurant is just a short walk up the street, great atmosphere, and fabulous food, highly recommend a visit, or maybe the Strand restaurant right down on the beach. As they say, location, location, location, you won't be disappointed !!!

Beautiful Sunsets

My husband and I searched high and low for a nice place that would accommodate the two of us and our dog for the holiday season. We are happy to report that this rental met our needs beautifully. We walked the beach's boardwalk daily, as the rental is literally up the hill. The kitchen is amply stocked for in-home cooking, and the washer and dryer on the premises was a convenient plus. The web-site pictures are pretty spot on to the accommodations. There is one parking spot associated with this rental; which is a plus (compact vehicle suggested). It was great to have the owner's housekeeper make a visit during our trip. Overall, we were very happy.

Comforts of home

We spent a week at the apartment, and very much enjoyed our stay. It is a block away from a gorgeous beach, and the location is easily accessible. We were very rarely in the apartment, as we spent the majority of our time sight-seeing around LA, but it was a cozy and comfortable place to come home to at night, and we often enjoyed sitting on the private patio to relax before bed. The photographs are very accurate. It was just the right size for our needs, and had everything we needed to get us through the week. Jeanette and her husband were there when we stayed, and were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderfully apartment, very clean and cozy, in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable apartment. It had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, 50 in, HD TV and it was so close to the Strand and Highland Street. All within a 2 minute walking distance. Very clean, comfortable and quiet at night. At the beach there is surfing, volleyball, roller blading, biking and jogging, not to mention just sitting on the beach and swimming. There are swing sets for kids and other games for them to play on the beach. There is a private patio for eating and sitting with an outdoor grill. We'll be back.

Perfect spot for fun with family or romantic getaway

We stayed in this beach side apartment with our 3 year-old and it was perfect. We walked to the beach nearly every day and played in the surf and sand or walked/biked the Strand. Downtown Manhattan Beach is literally blocks away and has excellent restaurants serving some of the most delicious food I have tasted. Best of all, the owners are very knowledgeable giving us great recommendations for things to do and places to go (including which Urgent Care to visit when I hurt my foot). Anything we needed was provided quickly and graciously. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location in MB

Lovely little backyard house - very clean and nicely arranged. Very quiet neighborhood. Only little drawbacks: lack of dinning table inside and curtains not thick enough in the bedroom that early daylight would wake us up everyday. Owners very helpful and arranging. Would come back in a heartbeat!

quiet beach getaway

1 bedroom property great size for single travelers or couples. Just enough space to relax when you're not on the Strand or in the restaurants/bars on the beach. Quiet neighborhood means relaxing evenings and less traffic around. Kitchen is stocked and makes staying in to eat a breeze. On site laundry also a definite benefit. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at the property!

El Porto

Excellent location a block from the beach and close to Manhattan Village, LAX and freeways. Very comfortable and tasteful space (the pics were accurate!). Occupied it for a few months for temporary housing. No problems. The landlady immediately dealt with any issues that arose with appliances or plumbing. She was a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend this place.

Vacation in Manhattan Beach CA

Our stayed at Jeanette’s place in Manhattan Beach, CA was extremely enjoyable. The place was very clean and in perfect working order. Jeanette was there at our arrival and she showed us the apartment and all amenities. The access to the beach was very easy and since we brought our bicycles with us it was nice to have a place that was a bit hidden from the road to store our bikes. Jeanette is a very easy to talk to and she also provided us with information on the surrounding area and place to visit. All in all this is a 5 star place and I have no problem recommending this place to anybody who wants access to the California beaches. If I plane another stay in the LA area I will undoubtedly go back at Jeanette’s place. Five stars on services, accommodations and location. Mario et Chantal

Amazing Apartment!!

I lived here for almost two years and was so sad to have to say goodbye. The place is beautifully furnished with so much character. It is the perfect size for one person but is fine for two for short term. There is lots of natural light and the porch is a rare find in Manhattan Beach. Great location too- just up the hill from the beach and strand!

Best time ever...

I lived in Jeanette's apartment for about 8 months and totally loved it. The location is perfect: steps to the beach with one of the best surf spots in the south bay, close to downtown MB, LAX and several freeways. The apartment has everything you can ask for (LCD TV, wireless Internet, BBQ, washer and dryer...) and is furnished very tastefully. Having breakfast on the patio while hearing the waves crashing was my favorite time. I seriously had the best time and would be back in a heartbeat.
