This gorgeous 1908 house is spacious, has terrific light, and fine details. Newly added penthouse sky deck with great view (pictures don't do justice). Connected by bridge to a separate modern tiny house that sleeps 5 and has a deck. Also hot tub.
Perfect for family/friend reunions, retreats, or team gatherings.
No parties permitted due to neighbors (and good friends) below and close by.
On the property are a huge oak tree with swing out front, plus plum, kiwi, orange, lemon, mulberry and avocado trees.
Neighborhood description:
Quiet yet walkable! Too many restaurants to count, Whole Foods and Trader Joes, the massive Saturday farmer's market. You're in the middle of Oakland's street life, and near downtown and BART, but on a quiet street.
All within a few blocks:
- Lake Merrit - a beautiful place for biking, running, or walking.
- Park with a playground
- Dozens of restaurants
- Yoga
- Massage
- Coffee etc.
Getting around:
-5 minutes walk from a 24-hour bus to SF, or (a little faster) 20 minutes walk to BART.
-10 minutes walk to the free Broadway shuttle, that goes right to the ferry terminal to SF.
