In the heart of Island Park, Mack's Inn has been a destination for over 100 years. Next to the Henry's Fork of the Snake River and minutes to Yellowstone Park:; access couldn't be better. BBQ grill available on covered patio and a firepit on site, open to the stars. The Milky Way is exceptionally bright up here. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The river is just steps away. Easy day trips to Yellowstone or Teton National Parks, Virginia City, Big Springs, the Madison River, or Big Sky Montana. Boat rentals and restaurants are within walking distance. We had so much fun. We went rafting, fishing, hiking, Yellowstone to see ole faithful and we were able to take advantage of the amenities at the hotel. It was a wonderful week. I will do this again.

Yearly island park vacation

By far this is the best cabin we have stayed in.. this is our 3 rd year to island park
everything is updated and is right next to the snake river which is why we go.. fishing!! The owners are very nice and quick to respond to anything you need .. highly recommend this cabin!!

Perfect Getaway

This cabin was everything I hoped it would be and so much more! It was a great location for Yellowstone and also for a lot of fun day trips and lazy days spent playing by the river and lounging by the fire pit. We will absolutely be back again!

Island Park Cabin

Great place! The cabin has been renovated recently and everything felt new. Also very spacious. The location was fantastic and also reasonably close to Yellowstone. The owner was very responsive to questions we had about check-in and check-out and quickly addressed an issue with a fan in an upstairs bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location on Henry's Fork

This cabin is beautifully finished and on a beautiful stretch of Henry's Fork by the old Mack's area. It is quite and very relaxing, especially if you take advantage of sitting on the back porch and the private dock. Gail was great to work with. Thanks, Aaron

Fabulous!

This was a perfect cabin and location to meet with old friends for a wonderful weekend at Island Park. The cabin seemed brand new with every amenity that we could want. We loved greeting every morning and ending every night on the dock overlooking the beautiful river. We will definitely come and stay here again! Thank You!!

Great Spot!

A friend and I came for a hiking trip to Yellowstone, and this spot was fantastic! It looked like the whole place was brand new, it was hard to know that anyone has ever stayed there. It doesn’t sit right on the river, it is back about 30 yards, but it has a nice view of the river from the patio and a walkway down to the river with a dock right there where you can sit. Very clean and relaxing, with everything you would possibly need in the house. Really nice grill too. Everything was super!

Best location in Island Park

Simply amazing. I've been vacationing in this area for nearly 50 years, and have always wanted to stay in this particular cabin. When it finally became available I booked it immediately, and I was not disappointed. It is everything I could have hoped for. Plenty of room for the family, very nice amenities, Just Awesome location... ( I love to fly fish and I can walk right into the river from the back porch.) And the Hosts were so helpful, they were prompt to answer my questions. I will for sure be booking this property again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Relaxing Base Camp

We had a great time at the Mack's Inn house. It is neatly located in an oasis of activity and, yet still close to West Yellowstone. The house is in great shape and recently renovated (smelled like a new log cabin). It is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc... There is a convenient grocery store just down the road so you can get anything you might need - meat, veggies, snacks, ice, etc... Also, just past the Marriott (which is right next door) is a rental place for rafts, kayaks, etc... The river behind the cabin can get busy from the Marriott guests and people rafting and fishing. The house is located about a 20-25 minute drive to the West Yellowstone entrance which was a quite easy and pretty drive. It easily accommodated our party of six. There are 4 bedroom, however, one of the bedrooms upstairs does not have door which wasn't a problem for our adult son, but might be for others. We would definitely go back if our travels take us out to the Yellowstone area again. It was a wonderful base camp for our amazing vacation to Yellowstone!
