Gloria really has thought of everything! First of all, the bungalow is just beautiful and the spot next to the Cove is very convenient. We spent every morning sitting on the deck looking at the water while enjoying fresh brewed coffee. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed and was neat and so clean when we arrived. Gloria and Salome both went above and beyond on the few occasions that we reached out, and the response time was always very quick. The beds are big and comfortable, and there’s lots of subscription services on the tv. All the comforts of home - just bring your swimsuit and enjoy a little piece of paradise!

The home is so lovely & peaceful! Gloria & Mike have thought of everything and are very responsive when needed !There is a restaurant & dive shop next door -so convenient! and the Brewing Co. is a 5 minute walk. We rented a car and spent time on the East end of the island - as well as West End & West Bay. Highly recommend Anthony’s Chicken in West Bay (best jerk chicken ever!) and Azure -about a 5-10 minute drive -great food, drink and scenery!Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us ! We will definitely be back !

We had a lovely time staying at this Bungalow. First, the owner Gloria is extremely communicative and provided lots of recommendations and assistance before we arrived and then she responded to every inquiry very quickly. Sometimes things were addressed, before I even saw her response. The property is the perfect size for a family. The house is extremely comfortable. The Kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is just a very welcoming and comfortable home. You also can't beat the location. The view is amazing and to wake up and look at the ocean and beach was incredible. The dive shop is right next door, which is perfect if you plan to dive. And the restaurant, bar and pool are also right next door, which is extremely convenient. We felt right at home at this property and would absolutely come back.

A great house for a family getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The house is clean, well stocked, comfortable and has a great view. The Cove restaurant is steps away and we could enjoy the local musicians on a couple of evenings right from the porch. We lounged in the hammocks on the dock, and ate at the Brewery down the road. Easy access to all parts of the island. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect Location

Rented for our 10 year anniversary and could not be happier. The house was beautiful and right on the beach. It was well equipped and spacious enough for two couples. The restaurant, pool, and dive shop are steps away. Best location in the neighborhood and on the island. Already planning our next stay there.

Beautiful home on the ocean

We had an amazing stay in a very comfortable home right in the ocean. The photos are accurate, and the home has everything you will need. The bed is super comfy too! We loved staying on this part of the island. We had a cat which made getting around to other parts and restaurants easy. Would definitely stay here again! Wonderfully responsive hosts too.

Oh, know! Matthew, I am glad you felt safe, as we do have 24-hour security with Bulldog international. All tropical destinations do have no sseums, which is why we have coconut oil in the beach house and remind our guests to use coconut oil, then spray deet in te air and walk through he spray. A piece of paradise

Our stay was amazing! The view was gorgeous. We loved the house. We said more than once that this is how we would want our island house to be. Gloria and Salomé were great to work with, and so responsive. It was nice to have the brewery and The Cove so close by. We booked a few excursions and they were happy to come pick us up.

Roatan 2024 - First timer

Property was exactly as advertised. we loved the location away from the hubbub of West Bay and West end. Great view, having the restaurant/dive shop/bar/pool right next door is a huge value. Food at the Cove was some of the best food we ate. Best part was all the people in that community we met and staffing. Can't say enough about how nice they all were. BTW, the Cauliflower appetizer at the Cove is a MUST HAVE dish! Thaks again for sharing you home with us!!

Beautiful View

We had a great time on the Island! Gloria and Salome were easy to communicate with and so incredibly helpful! Everything listed is completely accurate. As a couple that travels quite a bit, comfortable beds can be hit or miss. However, the beds here were super comfy and waking up to that beautiful view of the ocean was amazing! The bungalow was clean, felt very safe, and it was easy to get to anywhere else on the island from that point. I highly recommend staying here.

Great view, great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bay. We explored the island quite a bit during our 9 day stay and did not find another area we liked as much. Quiet and secluded but walking distance to The Cove restaurant and Roatan Island brewery. Away from the cruise ship crowds! Directly on the Beach with unobstructed views. Anna and Joel went out of their way to accommodate when we asked about a cooler and beach chairs for a day at Camp Bay beach. We went snorkeling with the dive shop next door as well. Super easy and staff was great. Communication with owners was extremely responsive! Thanks so much!

Palmetto Bay

We had an amazing stay at Palmetto Bay, beautiful beach front house with everything we needed. The location and beach are one of the better views on the island, not the white sand of West Bay but doesn’t have all the cruise traffic either. Nice dive shop right on site, and restaurant is good as well. Property is very well maintained, and if Injad any questions the host responded immediately. We took the kayak out several mornings and tied up at the buoy directly in front of the house. This allowed us to snorkel right at the reef, saw rays, sharks, lobster, crab, and a ton of fish. It’s a 1/4 mile trek, took about 10 minutes and well worth it. Don’t mess with snorkeling around the dock, head out to the buoy, you won’t be disappointed. We also like to cook in as much as we can, the kitchen had everything we needed, would definitely recommend.

Creature Comfort in Palmetto Bay

This is a nice, freshly remodeled, well-kept Bungalow. We were extremely happy with the accommodations throughout. The bed, linens, and electronics were all top of the line. The staff keeps the beach and grounds in great shape. The property manager was right there when we had a minor issue with a bathroom light. The owner Gloria accommodated our schedule, and was glad to provide tips and recommendations that made our stay all the better. We were in Roatan primarily to snorkel, and we were disappointed in the snorkeling that is accessible from the shore in Palmetto Bay. But this obviously was not Gloria's fault. If you're a scuba diver the place would be great. There were nice folks taking divers out from right in front of the bungalow several times a day. We would have preferred if the bungalow had screens on the doors and windows so we could have let in the ocean breezes on cooler days. But the place is very well air conditioned, so we were always comfortable. All told, it was a great stay.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay at the house! Gloria was wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was just as listed. The location was nice and quiet, away from all the business at the West Bay, but still within a reasonable drive to the beaches there. The only downside was the beach at Palmetto Bay wasn’t great - not one you’d walk into the ocean at or lay out on. However, there was a nice pool, hammocks, and a beautiful pier out over the water with hammocks as well. We loved hanging out at the bar/restaurant. The food & drinks were great! Richard and Lisa took excellent care of us there and were nice to get to know. The house had everything we needed & was comfortable- including comfortable beds! Sitting on the porch under the fans, listening to the birds and watching the water was so peaceful and relaxing! We would recommend getting a rental car to get around easier. It took a day or so to get used to driving there, but it wasn’t bad. The brewery next door to the resort was great too! Good beer & a nice place to hang out at. We always enjoyed coming back “home” to Palmetto Bay!

Outstanding Beachfront

You couldn’t ask for a better view and serene atmosphere than the Little Beach House By the Sea in Palmetto Bay. Anna is most delightful to work with. She responded to every question and request immediately, gave great recommendations and was able to set us up with transportation. The house is in a great location to the view of the sea, pool, pier/gazebo, restaurant. The furnishings are adequate and we had everything we needed. The clothes dryer didn’t work but they are working on it. Sitting on the front porch every morning and evening was probably one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Just taking in the warmth and holding on to the view as we head back to the icy cold temps of MN as I write this review today. The location was perfect for us. We ate at the Cove a couple of times, walked to the brewery for dinner one day, did a fishing and snorkeling tour with Sam, but also got out to explore the island as well. We kept busy but it was nice to come back “home” to the quietness of Palmetto Bay every evening. Best news of all is that we had no issues with any outdoor bug bites- even without a screened in porch! We would highly recommend Anna and her place to any one for a wonderful vacation in Roatan.
