This property is a shining jewel for Vrbo. We loved this cozy little cabin. It was a great place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other. We prepared our first Thanksgiving dinner together in the kitchen and had all the necessities. I would recommend arriving before dusk to find the property. It can be a little tricky. We were struggling, but Artie came right out and directed us to the walkway. We loved walking our husky over the river and through the woods behind the cottage. Sunset views from the living room out over the pond were beautiful. We finished our dinner with a fire by the pond and enjoyed smores for dessert. Great memories were made!

This is the perfect place to unplug and relax! We loved feeding the fish and watching the hummingbirds. There was very little noise, other than the sounds of nature. The hosts were very accommodating. They checked in by message to ensure we were enjoying our stay, and left muffins and fresh flowers at our arrival. The cottage was charming and beautifully decorated. We loved every second and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely Breathtaking!!

This place was a hidden gem surrounded by nature’s beauty. The pond and the chorus of birds created such a serene atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the peaceful outdoors. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape into nature and enjoy some tranquility. We can’t wait to return! Ileasha was a pleasure to communicate with! The pastries was a wonderful addition as well! Couldn’t have asked for any better host & cottage! Was so glad we were able to bring little fur baby Rigley! Oh one more thing, feeding the fish was so cool!Would you like a shorter version or something more formal or casual?

Wonderful!

It could not have been better. Our host gave us little touches of thoughtfulness since we used this little cabin for the beginning of our honeymoon. It was cutely decorated, serene, and perfect for what we needed.

This little cottage is even nicer in person than it is online. Bring binoculars and your bird identification book. The wide array of birds that live here is amazing

Perfect Place To Stay

The little cottage was great and very comfortable. The owner was super nice and accommodating. Loved all the bird feeders and the pond...it was a nice retreat and very close to Warrensburg.

A wonderful stay

Everything about this place was amazing. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make great meals at home. The space its self lead to much relaxation and some time to unwind.

After reading amazing reviews I decided to choose this location. It was beautiful and everything we imagined. The property was so clean and well taken care of. Everything was stocked and ready to go. The owner was easily available if we had any questions or concerns. They even had cupcakes for us! I think it's worth noting that this is on property with other buildings so you are not completely alone but it feels like you are. alalone.alone.

Little Slice of Heaven

Perfect

My husband and enjoyed everything about our stay. The property is beautiful. We saw deer and birds out of the back window. It was so relaxing to look out of the windows and see the beautiful trees and nature. The accommodations were perfect for two. We had plenty of room and had everything we could want. The decor is quaint and stylish. The bed was nice and comfortable. I enjoyed waking up early to catch the wildlife while sipping my hot tea. Bird feeders and bath to attract them. The hosts are so very friendly, inviting and thoughtful. They were available; just a text away and responses were quick and so friendly. We have zero complaints. We highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone coming to this area. Warrensburg is 10 to 15 minutes away and had any type of food you would want. We liked Fitters Pub. Good Ribeye.

Anniversary getaway

This is such a lovely property! We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our 20 year anniversary! Highly recommend for a quick getaway or an extended stay and make sure to check out their on site wedding venue! We look forward to staying here in the future!

Absolutely Adorable!

We were in the area for a wedding at Powell Gardens and chose this place because of its proximity as well as because it was dog-friendly. The decor is absolutely adorable! We wish we had booked two nights so we could have enjoyed the place more. It has a very nice deck on the back as well as a front porch with swings. Highly recommend!

Country Living Getaway

This is one of the best VRBO's we have experienced. Cottage was so quaint and beautifully decorated. Very clean with everything you would need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying nature. Hosts were very friendly and provided delicious goodies upon our arrival. Highly recommend this cottage as a place to stay,

Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the birds

The owners have created a beautiful place to unwind. We particularly enjoyed the constant hummingbird activity on the front and back porches and feeding the fish in the pond. We highly recommend. If you enjoy antiquing there are many, many interesting places in the area and Powell Gardens is a short drive away. If you desperately need to be connected this is not the place - no wifi and limited cell phone coverage, but it is a great place to unwind and relax.

The Most Relaxing Get Away

Absolute Perfection

This cottage is perfection. I travel for a living, and I'm so happy I booked this little piece of paradise. I stayed for two weeks, and when I left earlier today I was so so sad to go. The pictures are good, but the real thing is better. The cottage looks like it's straight out of a magazine. The flowers are all in full bloom and gorgeous. The light streams in through the windows at sunset in a golden hue that influencers would kill to recreate. The interior is clean, smells amazing, and so comfy and cute. The bed is lush and soft and you just sink right on in. I sat on the back porch for a long while during the days, and its perfect for reading a book. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need for cooking, and the closest town is an easy 15 minute drive. There is no wifi, which is something to be considered if you have to get work done. But the cell service was perfectly fine. The owners are the sweetest humans ever, and had muffins ready for me when I got there, and even had cat treats for Pip. Feeding the fish in the lake became my favorite daily hobby, and there is an adorable turtle in the lake too. So it became a daily challenge to get some of the food to the turtle while the fish were all going for them. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place. If you're looking to get away for a time, and want somewhere quiet that isn't too in the middle of nowhere. This is it. Enjoy this place. Love it as much as I did. Hopefully I'll get back soon.
