Great rental!

Everything was as listed, clean property. Beds were very comfortable, towels were plush, the kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Check in/out was easy. Wonderful place to stay if you are catching a show at Bethel Woods.

Bethel Woods Concert

We had a wonderful stay. The Host was very receptive. Got right back to us when we texted them, and even let us check in early so we could get to the concert early. We love the concerts at Bethel, but leaving afterwards is always difficult. We loved the fact that our VRBO was just 10 minutes down the road. We will definitely stay here again! thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Comfortable and close to Bethel Woods

We were attracted to stay in this historic and unique accommodation. We chose to stay in the home that sleeps six. We appreciated the freshly renovated home decorated with Early American theme. The spacious first floor includes family room and eating area, kitchen, bedroom with pull out sofa and bathroom. Second floor has one bedroom, bathroom and laundry area. It’s Comfortable and clean. Owner provided coffee, sugar butter and some seasonings and eggs. Close to Bethel Woods.

The Catskill Mountains have been a resort area for generations and the Gedney Family started this small hotel in the 1800's when individual villages could have 50 or 100 hotels alone. When the vacation trend changed in the early 20 th century many hotels closed and the Gedney House sat in disrepair. The Rodgers Family purchased the property and worked on rebuilding it to become their summer family home, then a year round home in retirement and finally a family business aimed at providing a conduit for comfort and enjoyment in a place they have enjoyed for generations. You have an opportunity to also partake of this property with its rich history and present day attractions along with the beauty of being close to all things Catskills!

Under a 10-minute ride to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, site of the original Woodstock Festival. The Gedney House is close to Route 17B taking you to Route 17 in Monticello with easy access for New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia Metro Areas. Take a short ride to beautiful villages filled with lovely shops and eateries: Jeffersonville, Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Livingston Manor, Roscoe and so many more. With many lakes and parks nearby, you have access to hiking trails and even to the Delaware River for world class fishing. Visit Resorts World Casino in Monticello which offers fine dining in 6 restaurants, gambling and both dj’s and live entertainment. Horse (harness) racing is another option at the Monticello Raceway. Sullivan County has something for everyone!
