Sandcastle at 104 F Port O Call is a completely renovated oceanfront condominium that not only offers spectacular views but has direct access to beach.
Beach Access Update — Port O’ Call F Building
Mother Nature reminded us this winter who’s really in charge, and an early season storm caused some notable beach erosion in this stretch of shoreline. As a proactive step to protect the dunes and property, temporary measures have been installed — including a sandbag breakwater and sand berms behind it. The good news? The beach is absolutely still there to be enjoyed.
Guests can access it easily just south of the F Building near the swimming pool. We’ve included a current photo in the listing so you can see exactly what conditions look like right now — no surprises, just good planning. As always, if you have questions or want local tips once you arrive, we’re here to help. Around here we believe a great vacation is about rolling with the tides — and making the most of every moment on the island.

Sandcastle at 104 F Port O Call is a completely renovated oceanfront condominium that not only offers spectacular views but has direct access to beach. Only five steps down separate your spacious screen porch to the secluded Wild Dunes beach. In fact, you can see the beach from every room in this wonderfully appointed beachside paradise.
After a recent renovation, Sandcastle at 104 F Port O Call features a well-appointed kitchen with all stainless-steel appliances, new cabinetry, and hard surface countertops. The upgraded bath is highlighted with a large walk-in shower with beautiful tile work. Finally, the Sandcastle has all new flooring, new furnishings, and fresh paint. It is the ideal destination for a couple or small family in search of an outstanding beach vacation memories!
The oceanfront bedroom has a comfortable king bed. To accommodate a small family, “Sandcastle” also features a sleeper sofa in the living area as well as a daybed in the large foyer. This extra arrangement makes 104 F Port O Call perfect for a family of four.
Sandcastle is in the Port O Call complex in Wild Dunes. There are no hotel rooms oceanfront on the Isle of Palms in Wild Dunes, making Port O Call one of the only locations in Charleston where you can find a one-bedroom property oceanfront. Port O Call features an outstanding oceanfront swimming pool that is exclusive for the residents and guests of this community. With direct beach access, beautiful oceanfront views, a spacious screened in porch, and fantastic interior updates, Sandcastle at 104 F Port O Call will bring you back time and time again to build yet another Sandcastle memory in the sands of Wild Dunes.

Beach Chairs and Umbrella: The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October). These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.

Ideally located, this beach house on the Isle of Palms is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (7 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (17 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens.
Things to note:
Wild Dunes does not have a central resort pool for all visitors. Most neighborhoods and villa communities have their own private pool for guests staying in that specific area. Please note that the pools at the Hyatt Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and the Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved exclusively for Hyatt hotel guests and are not available to vacation rental guests.
The Wild Dunes Community has a strict no pet policy for non-residents. Pets are not allowed within the gates of the community.

Beautiful Beach location!
Amazing location, loved being able to walk out the front porch right on to the beach! The unit could use some renovations in the bathroom and kitchen areas, and the rug in the family room was very hard and uncomfortable to walk on. Overall love staying in Wild dunes, the beach is unbelievably gorgeous!
Loved our stay. Weather was awful, but we didn't care. We just wanted the time together, Beautiful unit. Would highly recommend it.

Clean property with great beach access
We loved our stay at The Sandcastle. The condo is perfect for a couple who enjoys the beach. We loved walking right out of the condo and onto the sand. It is also close to downtown Charleston as well as other restaurants and activities if you don't want to spend all your time on the beach.
Michael is a great host who made us feel prepared with his recommendations!

Perfect spot - right on the beach!
We have stayed in many different Port O'Call villas through the years, and this one is by far the best-situated. It's right on the beach. Even though it rained one day while we were there, we were able to enjoy sitting on the screened porch and feeling the breeze. Can't wait to return next year!

It was a great location!
We liked the fact that the condo was right on the beach! A few things in the condo were a little rough, especially the cookware, we had to go out an buy a skillet. All in all we had a good time, despite the weather--we were there for all the flooding a couple of weeks ago. The beach is fantastic.

I feel very strongly that any negative experience our guests encounter is unacceptable; not only to me, but also to our entire Beachside Team. Our staff takes great pride in working with our guest to make sure they have a memorable experience. Our condo has a number of wonderful amenities. The oceanfront screen porch with steps down to the beach is a truly unique feature! In addition, the ideal location at the end of the building adds privacy and wonderful morning light throughout the living room. This condominium offers oceanfront living at its absolute best!
Each winter, the property owner works on a handful of projects. With the help of your comments, we have prioritized several of these projects to include the upgrading the kitchen cookware and dishes. We are very excited about these and other upcoming improvements and hope that you will visit our condo again in 2016!
Thank you again for your patience and we apologize that the kitchen cookware was disappointing. Our condo is in a fantastic destination with direct beach access and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Most comfortable bed and best view of the beach!
My husband and I spent a week at 104F Port of Call and found the unit to be in a perfect spot! It is very nice, clean, the porch is awesome, the view is marvelous and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep each night. We were completely relaxed. Thank you to the owners for sharing this treat. I hope we can come back next year!

Oceanfront paradise
Our favorite part of this first-floor condo was the screened-in porch - simply open the door and you are steps away from the beach. New stainless appliances, washer, dryer, and plenty of amenities. Plenty of storage, a large master bedroom, and an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Our Quick getaway
My wife and I decided last minute to make a weekend getaway. The booking process and check in process was super easy. Once we arrived at the condo, it definitely did not disappoint. We absolutely loved our stay and the convenience of the rentals for our chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and corn hole boards! We’ll definitely be back!
