This met all of our needs plus some! Beautiful location, very clean, plenty of beds and strong wifi for the kids. Would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area.

Nice and relaxing getaway!

Wonderful home for our family vacation! Super clean and had everything we needed. Great access to lake for fishing. Best property we've stayed in the last few years. Highly recommend!

Great location. Only complaint was water pressure in bathroom showers and sinks on main floor. Host was wonderful and quick to respond. Beautiful area.

Family Lake Getaway

The perfect spot for our two families: 4 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty to keep our kids occupied; having access to the dock was definitely a plus. Peter was VERY responsive with questions and more than hospitable. We would definitely stay again!

Great Lake cottage!

We loved staying at this lake cottage. Enjoyed the dock and kayaks daily. The location is very quiet which made for a very relaxing stay. There was a bit of a snafu with the automated check in email from VRBO, but Peter was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again and recommend to others!

Clemson Gateway

Great lake home with plenty of room and conveniently located near Clemson University. Property was very clean upon arrival and has a bathroom on all three levels. It may look small when first pulling up but this three floor home can accommodate ten people easy. Had a great time with family for a weekend getaway.

Quiet, and very accommodating

We stayed here for my son’s wedding, and it was very clean, the description of property is very accurate, and it was very nice set up. Several different areas for space….(playroom downstairs, sleeping upstairs, more adult area (kitchen, master bedroom/bathroom) on main floor…was exactly what we were looking for and needed.

Summer vacation with family

I cannot tell you how happy we were with our visit! We had several adult kids along with us who kayaked, fished, played games from game room inbetween visiting their grandmother in Pendleton. She actually made it up for a family meal using the grill and commented on how comfortable the place was. I contacted the owner twice and he was super helpful in me our personal needs such as earlier arrival & boating recommendations. We’ll be back for sure!

Lake house in the woods

Our Granddaughter got married in Clemson and 2 of our children and their family stayed at this house for the wedding. We had to contact PJ to get the code to enter the house. From the outside you wonder if 10 adults can even stay there, however was quite spacious. Any concerns we had, we contacted PJ and he had them corrected immediately. The kids loved using the kayaks. We would stay here again and highly recommend this house!!

Perfect Lake Getaway

Everything was better than described in the listing! If you want a property that is on the lake & in a quiet neighborhood, then I suggest renting this amazing VRBO! We had everything we needed during our stay. Also, at checkout, no additional responsibilities were required of us. Sometimes, VRBO properties have a long list of checkout requirements. The host of this property believes in keeping things simple for his guests, and we truly appreciated this approach! We will definitely rent this property again if we are ever in the area! Thanks for a great getaway!

Ready to go back! Peaceful getaway.

Great setup and beautiful wooded spot on the water. Clean and comfortable. Loft is perfect for the young folks. Nice bathrooms. Open kitchen. Responsive host. Loved mornings on the deck watching the deer in the yard. Nice dock, convenient ramp nearby. Ample parking for vehicles and boat trailer. 10-15 minutes from Seneca or Clemson, so everything was easy to get to. Pathway down to dock is steep, so that's something to consider for guests with physical challenges.

Relaxation

This was a wonderful spot in a wonderful house. I was surprised when we arrived and walked inside - the house is larger than the pictures show. Plenty of space for a larger family. Downstairs was the fun space with tv, games and outdoor access. Loved the loft bedroom. Beautiful views to the lake, which my husband used the kayaks on property and easily accessed the opposite side of the lake. He fished at the dock, and all over the lake in front of the property. He had a great time and no problem catching fish! We were on a college visit to Clemson (Go Tigers!) with our daughter, and could easily access the campus in 10-15 minutes. We travel with our dog and the house is dog friendly with gates on the deck so she could be outside safely. Our favorite spot was on the deck with a beautiful lake view. Our host was wonderful, knowledgeable about the area and easy to reach by phone when we had a few questions. We have stayed in several VRBO homes around this lake and this one checks every box for us. LOVED IT! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back :D!
