Lovely historic home in the heart of New Oxford, just a few blocks from the town center and it’s beautiful fountain. On the square you can enjoy wine tastings, live music, a coffee house with fresh baked goods and ice cream. New Oxford is perfectly situated near Gettysburg, Hanover, and Codorus State Park, Visit the battlefields, rent a kayak at the park or take a scenic route through apple orchards. If staying in you can enjoy the lounge, soaking tub, or relax on the patio in the garden. Very clean and well finished. Beautiful furniture. Very spacious and comfortable. Could use a dinette table in the kitchen. Very close to the railroad tracks and the train horn is loud!

We stayed here with another couple, and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was super clean, and all the linens smelled fresh and clean. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need. I absolutely loved the style of the house and all the beautiful colonial furniture.We asked Laura if we could check in early, and she was very accommodating and said it wasn’t a problem. She was easy to work with and always responded quickly to any questions we had.If we come back to the area, this will definitely be our go-to place to stay!

We loved this home! We all slept well and were so thankful for the coffee and creamer! Our teens loved watching the train and visiting the antique store close by! The record player was a big hit as well! Thank you for providing a beautiful home for our family!

It was very easy working with Laura, and the house was so unique with its wood staircases and classic style. It was spacious, clean, and well equipped - plenty of towels and linens and nice touches scattered throughout the house. I loved the wrap-around porch as a place to sit outside with my coffee and a book. A big thumbs up!

Absolutely loved this stay. The house is gorgeous and so clean. They provided the linens, towels, and even the shampoos, soaps, coffee, chips, and so much more. We had our book club stay for the weekend to relax and read and it was perfect. Loved the atmosphere.

The house was beautiful and very clean. Only thing it sits on a busy street so road noise is very prominent but if your use to that then overall the stay was definitely worth it and communication was smooth and prompt. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. The heat seemed to work better and extra blankets were on hand as it was cold outside. Everything was clean and the home is beautiful inside and out.

Gem in the heart of a quaint little town

We needed a place to stay near family for Christmas. With teens in the family it was so nice to have a spacious, well stocked home for everyone to spread out and relax, The house seems newly renovated with many special touches.

We were looking for an affordable place to stay for the Gettysburg Film Festival over the weekend, and this place ended up being PERFECT. Everything was clean, room temps were perfect (especially for being an old house) and we were within walking distance to food and shopping. My sister really wanted to visit a dress shop she’d found on TikTok that would’ve been an hour drive had we stayed in Gettysburg. This house is the perfect distance between both. We goofed off on our last day and took a bunch of pictures around the house because the rooms were all so cool. We were a little sad that the game room didn’t have a whole lot of games (we found Sorry! and a pack of cards) but it didn’t affect our stay whatsoever. Would absolutely go again, hopefully for a whole week next time!!
We loved the wooden shutters in the living room and dining room!

Beautiful historic home

This property was beautiful inside and out. The property owner was extremely kind and very quick to respond. Amenities stocked in the house were abundant and thoughtful. The AC worked great, as it was near 100 degrees each day we were there. Would highly recommend this property and host!

Perfect getaway

Gettysburg is always a stop for my family and I when we travel to PA to visit the rest of our family. Laura’s property was the perfect location and super cozy! She was very communicative, helpful and kind. We definitely added her house to places we will stay again! It was such a unique house and we enjoyed the entire home and outside seating area.
