Pool was great, views were great, loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle. Caswell beach is absolutely epic. I WILL come back

It was not clean, crumbs and hair on one bed with an empty chip bag under it, blood on another comforter, soap on shower wall, dirty tub, you have to put the sheets on the bed that are wrapped in plastic, the sitting room and one of the bedrooms smelled like dog pee, hole in the living room wall along with some spackle, can of paint and a sanding block behind the recliner, and ROACHES inside as well as out. Emailed the rental company Saturday night after everyone arrived about the conditions. They texted me back on Monday suggesting them sending over someone to clean, which we had already cleaned and vacuumed, and the pest control people. Since we had a toddler and dog in the house we declined having to leave the house for 2 hours for this to be done. Cute house though with a good setup of bathrooms for each bedroom. Beds were comfortable. Great location. Pool was clean and the microwave looked new.

This home was old, tired, poorly maintained, and dirty. There was mold covering the master bathroom toilet seat. None of the beds were made - all of the sheets and towels were in plastic wrapped bundles on the beds. We found ticks and bugs on the mattress covers. Some of the lights didn't work (the overhead light for the stairs for example). The top of the fridge was covered in dust. A very disappointing experience for a family get together.

Issues with house

The house is a great location, but we did have some problems. There is a gap under the front door which causes cold air to make the living room very chilly at times. The house was very cold when we arrived and had issues with the heat. I would suggest leaving instructions on how to operate. The down bd very small with no place to put luggage or a place to put clothes
