The Oakwood, a peaceful cabin oasis, is conveniently located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, secluded cabin comfortably accommodates 10 guests. Make lifelong memories with family and friends in this spacious retreat after enjoying a day out in town or exploring the mountains. From the front door, you’re less than 10 minutes from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, 15 minutes from GSMNP, and only 5 minutes from fishing in the Little Pigeon River.

Great house and awesome hosts!!
Property was very nice, clean, and full of amenities. Location was very peaceful, quiet, and conveniently located for trips into Pigeon Forge AND Gatlinburg. The hosts were very prompt and courteous with all communications with us prior to, during, and after our stay at their property. Highly recommend this house and hosts for a nice and peaceful getaway with family!

Not clean, in need of repairs
Had to vacuum house & remove bugs. There was a thick layer of dust on outside furniture. Front double doors would not lock or even latch properly- in bear country! Main level bath was unclean with hairs in the tub, drain plug not functional, door wouldn't lock causing privacy issues. Insufficient bath tissue to make it thru 1st night. Only 4 washcloths for 7 people. Hot tub needs rpr. House needs maintenance. Host tried to email me but I couldnt respond on my cell. I explained this by email when we got home. Liked room, layout, kitchen& dining,games downstairs, private /quiet location, outside flowers & plants.

Great Stay
We were so happy with our stay. It was a great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but also so nice to have the seclusion. There was plenty of space and my kids loved having the whole basement to themselves. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was very clean. Would highly recommend. Only thing would be to have more drawers to put your clothes into in the two mainfloor rooms.

Perfect place for family getaway
We loved this house! It was so comfortable and roomy! There is a game room in the basement that was perfect for family hangout!! It is conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This will become our go to house when we visit!!

We are Mississippi natives who love a good adventure. We have been all over the country from fly fishing in Colorado to staying off-grid on the Boundary Waters. One of our favorite places we always come back to, however, is The Great Smoky Mountains. We hope your trip to the Smokies will bring as much joy and peace to you as it does to our family.

The location of The Oakwood is unbeatable in our opinion. You are just a matter of minutes from the middle of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg which is nice for us if we want to take the kids out to eat or to one of the many attractions in the area. We have the ability to do so and still make it back for nap times! We used an amazing interior decorator for this property and we think she did an incredible job. We love how cozy it feels, while still maintaining an elegant look. We are still so excited to be there every time we walk in.
