Beautiful Cottage by the Lake

Located in the friendly Cleveland Heights neighborhood of Oakland, this beautiful cottage is a short walk to Lake Merritt, great restaurants, shops and easy transportation to San Francisco. There's a full kitchen, luxury mattress, and plenty of space for your belongings. You will feel right at home to rest, recharge, and reconnect!

Our cottage sits in a private green oasis, surrounded by fruit trees and a beautifully landscaped lawn. You will feel at home with a plush queen mattress, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel pots and pans, large closet, and relaxing clean bathroom with a spacious shower. Our dining table is great for eating or working on your laptop, and the living room area has a fold-down futon couch. We offer high-speed wifi and Fire TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. (with your login). Overall, the space is light and airy, with great heat and air conditioning. We utilize enhanced cleaning measures, leaving 24 hours between guests.

Our neighborhood is cute and quiet, yet close to all that Oakland and the Bay Area has to offer. Take a walk, bike, scooter, bus, BART, or ride share to great restaurants and shops, or up the hill to Redwood Regional Park for hiking and biking. Ride into the City for sightseeing, then come back to your relaxing, clean and private getaway.

We are just a short walk to gorgeous Lake Merritt (with its perfect 5K perimeter), and all of the great restaurants, bars, and cafes in the Grand Lake area. Our neighborhood is also near Jack London Square, Downtown, and Chinatown. We are a short drive or bus ride to Temescal and Berkeley. We are located five minutes from the express TransBay bus to San Francisco, and 30 minutes walking from BART. It’s also easy to Lyft or Uber into the City for a fun adventure, or enjoy Oakland!

Please note: Washer and dryer are available for guests staying more than 30 days. There is a $500 security deposit that will be returned after your stay.

The place was just as pictured, directions to get in were easy to follow, self check in was great, and we felt safe with the elctronic locks!

This studio is perfect for short or longer stays. It was very clean, super comfortable, and close to everything I needed, including the bus line. There is not much space for dry food, but it all worked out. I would definitely recommend this space and would stay there again anytime. There was also great communication between the host and myself.

Wonderful stay

The property is exactly as described. It’s a nice and safe area near the lake that is conveniently located with many things in walking distance. The property has all the necessity amenities, kitchen is well stocked, the bed is a little soft for my personal tastes but still extremely comfy, and the shower is great. Check in was easy and the property owner was very responsive.
