Kick back and relax in this very clean and cozy southwest themed home. There is cereal in the pantry and breakfast items in the freezer for you. A coffee station is loaded with coffee, tea's and creamer to help make your morning all the better!! The kitchen is fully stocked with all your basic cooking tools if you would prefer to cook and dine in. Lots of extra amenities available. The back yard is very private, spacious and completely fenced in. It is perfect if you bring your pet along. There is covered parking for your vehicle.
Dalhart is a bustling community. There are great restaurants and bars, several fast food options, and delicious Spanish food. Dust Bowl Grill and Bowling Alley is a great option for families. Hodies BBQ and Ten in Texas Steakhouse are locally owned and offer a quality dining experience. Sonic is about a 3 minute drive away or would be a nice walk if you need a little exercise. Rita Blanca Lake has hiking trails all around it. Downtown Dalhart has some unique boutiques that are awesome to browse through. If you like specialty coffee be sure to stop by Purpose Coffee or The Flying Pig. You will not be disappointed. Our local grocery store, United, has lots of options for you if you like to cook and dine in. Family Dollar is located just a few minutes away and may have anything you have forgotten.

Great place to stay. Comfortable well kept property. We came to prairie dog hunt and needed a place that was more private than a motel because of our shooting equipment. Plan to come back in the future. Never met the owner but their communications where a great help

Kim is a super host - very friendly and communicative - and the place is super cute! The super large, fenced yard is perfect for fur babies. Highly recommend! :-)

Welcome Stop in Dalhart

My wife and I stayed here with our Greyhound and two family members as we made a cross country move. The beds were all very comfortable and the host had left a wide selection of drinks and snacks and even some homemade cinnamon rolls, which were a huge hit! Our dog loved the yard and we had more than enough space to park two cars and a 20 foot moving truck. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely try to stay here again!

Thanksgiving with the Fam

We rented the Hacienda for some family to stay over Thanksgiving. They repeatedly exclaimed over how clean, comfortable, and quiet it was. Kim and her staff were very accommodating to every need. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were traveling from MN to AZ and this was our half way stop. Kim was very responsive and kind. The place is adorable and you can tell it was prepared with an extra measure of care. Everything you need is there and then some. We’re staying there again on our way back through.

So clean and nicely supplied

We were so happy with the house. Comfy beds, extremely clean and it seems they supplied everything. I wouldn't have needed to bring anything but clothes! Will definitely keep this in mind as a halfway point from South Texas to Colorado.

This house is managed with love and care

I rent houses a lot. This house marks the top of the list of all houses I have stayed when it comes to the love and care given to the house and the thoughtful attention to the comfort of the guests. Superbly managed. Very comfortable. The kids loved the huge yard and we slept like sweet little babies. Next time I roll through town, definitely staying here again.

Cozy, clean, cute with lots of extras!

My husband and I stayed here for the second time on our return trip from Phoenix to Minnesota. Kim was a great hostess checking in on us. The place is so inviting and SO clean. Every thing you could ask for is stocked here including homemade rolls or muffins for breakfast. They’ve thought of everything and made our half-way-point-stay enjoyable. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely stay here again next time we drive through.

It was great. Around mid-night a person across the street was blaring his music from the car with the bass very loud. No fault of the owner. Maybe they can talk to that neighbor. It stopped around 1AM. But I slept well and I’d stay here again. The place was adorable and very comfortable and had EVERYTHING you need. Cleanliness was exceptional. 5 stars given.

Family reunion trip

It was a great two nights stay The property was very clean. The backyard was wonderful. The house had a lot of extra amenities that you don’t think about regarding snacks and kitchen supplies We were not expecting. I would recommend a desert style front yard upgrade very difficult in West Texas to keep a nice yard but I said before the backyard was very nice. Grass was green trees were nicely pruned. It was a joy to sit out and enjoy the evening.

I was born in Alabama and lived there until I was 17, then I moved to Texas and fell for the wide open spaces! I LOVE this place and its friendly people. The best things in my life are my husband and 4 boys! We have a lot of fun together! Never a dull moment! I love to cook and bake and sew and drink coffee. I have a small garden and enjoy growing flowers.
