Wonderful weekend stay

As always, short but wonderful weekend getaway. Host was very responsive and super accommodating. We had trouble with original booking dates and our host worked very hard to reschedule our stay. Highly recommended, Thank you!

Always great getaway

Always a perfect little getaway close to home. Property is clean, staff is kind and welcoming. Unfortunately our check-in was delayed for almost 2 hours due to resort overbooking. Stay was overall very pleasant, recommended, we will be back.

“Win Win”

The room was amazing with full kitchen and fireplace! Super clean and organized. Check in was great and the price even better. I will always use this verses the regular hotel rooms.

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at wilderness resort, waterpark. The check-in process was a breeze. The room was ready early. The staff that helped us book through Vrbo (BnB was amazing. They delivered excellent communication and made our trip seamless. It truly was a perfect trip.

Great Amenities

Access to waterparks, restaurants, and downtown were very convenient. This clean condo included a nice full kitchen, washer/dryer, and two full baths. Nice balcony and fireplace. Can’t beat the price for everything included. We will be back!

Awesome find and easy check in

Wilderness is always amazing and booking through this company was a breeze!!! This is our first time booking the Wilderness through Vrbo and we will definitely do it again!!!! They will offer to get you to do a 2 hour walk through for the time share but you can politely decline. We will definitely use this process again!

This was my first time booking through Vrbo. Was a bit nervous at first, but the check in process went great. Host contacted me before hand with all the details and was very responsive. The room was great and loved that it was connected to the Wilderness water parks. My girlfriend and I had a memorable trip, and will definitely book through this host again.

Great experience

The contractor I'm working for had a job going on in nearby Baraboo, WI and i needed lodging while in the area. I try to stay places that offer rooms with some sort of kitchenette when i travel out of town for work, but your typical "extended stay" hotels have a tendency to be a little sketchy, and if they arent, they are pretty pricey. I had visited the Wilderness Lodge years ago, and figured that Glacier Canyon was a safe bet since it is part of the same company. I'm not a "water park person" and didn't utilize any of the waterpark durring my stay, so I cant speak to any of that. I reserved a 1 bedroom suite and was upgraded to a 3 bedroom even though I told them it was unnecessary as it was just me for a few nights. The unit had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dinette area, etc... My wife appreciated that i was able to do my laundry from the week before returning home for the weekend. Communication from the host was pleasant and straightforward. Will be staying there again the next couple of weeks, and look forward to my stay. I only wish i wasnt there for work and could actually relax and enjoy it more!

Don't do the "presentation"

The front desk person was very friendly and we got a wonderful room. We were directed to the concierge to get something. Once there, they offered us a free 7-night stay, a separate free 2 night stay, and $25 in resort bucks to go to a 90 minute presentation. We agreed and were given a time the next day. The person was very nice at first. He went through a lot of information very quickly. We were quite confused about what he was saying. Then he called over another person who started going over pricing for the time share that they claimed wasn't a time share. They kept asking me to commit to their program because it was now or never. I told them I couldn't do that without being able to take time to look it over, After 2 1/2 hours, and my husband finally saying "No", the other guy slammed his notebook shut and stormed off. Then the first guy tried to get us to reconsider. When we said no again, he said someone would be coming over to finish up. The new person then tried to get us to sign up for a cheaper package to try it out. Again we said no. Finally, after over 3 hours, she had us take a survey and let us go. We tried calling the number for the 2-night stay and were told that it couldn't be used for at least 90 days because we would be required to go to a 2 hour presentation to be able to use it. Also, it wasn't for the resort we had stayed at. It was for a motel room. We are concerned that the 7-night stay will be the same situation.
