A small farm nestled in a small country neighborhood about one mile from downtown. The farmhouse is separated from the main house by a brook and trees. There is a pond for fishing or kayaking. Friendly horses, donkeys, goats, chickens ,ducks, guineas, turkeys, peacocks, bunnies, a deer, and of course, dogs and cats are all here to befriend you! The 3 bedroom/2 bath house has a farm/lodge decor. The spacious bedrooms have scenic views of farm. Relax on front or back porch with coffee in the morning and watch the animals. Or play some games of cornhole, volleyball, badmitton, horseshoes, or ping pong. Downtown Bellville has some nice shops and restaurants to try. The Farmers market is very popular. Newmans Castle and Phenix Knives are just a few minutes away.

Property was an excellent location for our travel plans. Exceptional amenities, clean, quiet, very functional for our group. Our host made early contact with us and made excellent suggestions which maximized our time and added value to our trip experiences. Host was very responsive and available if needed. Farm house was well stocked and beautifully decorated. Our stay was close to town and a neighboring city, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet life. Our son greatly enjoyed feeding and greeting the animals! We greatly enjoyed our stay and was a nice place to rest and relax!

Everything was in perfect condition. All provisions that could possibly be needed were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunnybrook Farm. We were in Bellville for a sibling gathering to make homemade sausage in order to preserve the tradition. The farm was a nice touch because we all grew up on one. I would strongly suggest that anyone, especially those with children stay there in order to experience the realities of a real farm with an abundance of animals to observe. It would be such a learning experience, even for for adults who only living experience is city life.

This is definitely our new family favorite getaway. The farm is so healing, the owners are accomodating, and the animals are very serene. It is hard to leave!!

Great, secluded area but still easy access to Houston

This house exceeded our expectations. The host allowed us to bring our horses and had a very large fenced pasture for them to stay in. We really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to all of the birds and other animals. Phil

Great family property!

We stayed over Christmas, having lived down the street years ago. So much fun to return! The animals were such a great touch for us-my local grandchildren loved them! The house is clean, cozy, comfortable and thoughtfully supplied and equipped-we couldn’t ask for more! This is NOT a high end luxury accommodation. It is a great place to stay in a small town. We will be back!!

Excellent place to stay

We encountered a surprise when we arrived at the house because Rebecca was not alerted to our arrival. Nevertheless, she worked with us to get the house ready for stay as quickly as possible. The location was great, and everything about our stay made it a respite from the chaos of our daughter's wedding. Thank you to Rebecca.

Cute little farm

Even though the property is located in a community, it offered that farm charm. The hostess was very kind and offered assistance in everything we asked. My travel mates enjoyed the farm animals and we named the peafowl 'Kevin'. 😀 Bernard seemed sad when we left. We loved every moment at this cute little but spacious house. Should i stay in Belleville in the future, this will be my lodging choice again.

A true farm experience!

My husband and and I brought our 5 year old son and our 3 dogs for a weekend getaway at Sunnybrook farms. This experience was nothing less than magical and refreshing! The owners were beyond accomodating - farm fresh eggs, feathers from the farm, total access to the animals - this was a wonderful nature retreat! This is an awesome experience for anyone trying to get their kids out of the city mindset and into the outdoors. I couldn't get my son to come inside - not that I tried very hard!I want to emphasize that this is a FARM experience - expect bugs, animal droppings, animal noises and animals doing animal things. This is a big part of the magic - everything is absolutely a "getting back to your roots" experience. It is very much like a weekend visit at Grandma's farm. The homely, rustic feel is absolutely an integral part of Sunnybrook farms. Please plan to keep an eye on your children- this is not a place small kids should free roam, but the animals are beyond friendly.At the end of our trip, we were not even remotely ready to leave. My son asked if we can come back every year, which is a definite yes!
