Daniels Mountain Lodge, large cabin by Shenandoah

Daniels Mountain Lodge is a secluded, spacious and luxurious log cabin, the perfect mountain getaway for families and friends. Just a short drive from more than 10 wineries, Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, Charlottesville and UVA. The house is great for guests of all ages with plenty of space and amenities for kids to play. With 5 wooded acres of privacy, family-friendly, pet-friendly, a fully stocked kitchen, a large covered wrap-around porch and a fire pit, it's perfect to gather!

We are located atop a steep gravel road. 4WD vehicles are required to reach the Lodge, especially in inclement weather.

You will have full access to the entire house and property.

This spacious modern lodge has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. One bedroom is on the main level, one bedroom on the upper level, and two bedrooms on the lower level of the home. It's newly renovated and furnished. The home has high-speed broadband fiber-optic internet and it's a perfect location to work remotely. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The home is located atop a mountain and with lots of wooded privacy. Please be aware that Deer Path Road is a very steep gravel road and rather bumpy: 4 wheel drive vehicles are recommended during the summer, fall and spring and required during the winter months. At all times, a vehicle with higher clearance is required: lower clearance vehicles' undersides will easily be damaged. Please note that, in a mountain environment, ice and snow are often present during the winter months and freezing rain can cause icy conditions on the driveway and road. Use Apple maps to get there, we have found that Waze and Google maps does not take you the correct way. We also highly recommend getting to the Lodge during daylight hours so that you can more easily find your way. You will see the address sign to our house at the end of Deer Path and our driveway is paved. Please SLOW DOWN driving up and down Deer Path Road for the sake of the local residents.
The homeowner and Orso Blu Stays will not be liable for any costs associated with road conditions, included but not limited to towing expenses.
