Welcome to our family friendly farm, an idyllic retreat that promises a truly memorable stay. Formerly part of a working farm until the 1960s, this barn was meticulously remodeled to support its new purpose as a private vacation retreat and is now available to host your vacation adventure. This rental features two spacious bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep for up to four guests. Additionally, there is a third bedroom with two sets of twin beds, perfect for accommodating a larger group or a family with children.

In this thoughtfully designed barn, you'll find all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. A washer and dryer are conveniently provided, allowing you to keep your laundry fresh during your visit. Step outside onto the inviting patio area, where you can relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. Unwind around the firepit, sharing stories and toasting marshmallows under the starry night sky.

Highly Recommend Hill Haven for a Cozy GetawayMy sisters and I chose Hill Haven for our annual sister adventure, and it exceeded every expectation. This charming barn renovation is full of warmth and personality, with thoughtful attention to detail at every turn.The space itself is a treat. The kitchen came fully stocked, the gourmet coffee was a lovely morning ritual, and the tasteful decor made us feel instantly at home. We even spotted flashlights tucked away in case of a power outage, which turned out to be more than just a nice touch.A severe storm rolled in with 80 mph winds and knocked out the power. Within no time, our kind hosts, Amanda and her husband, arrived with lanterns and plenty of water to keep us comfortable. Their quick, caring response turned a potentially stressful evening into one of our favorite memories from the trip.What stayed with us most was the peace. No road noise here, just songbirds singing and beautiful, scenic views from the private patio. It's the kind of quiet that lets you actually unwind.If you're looking for a comfortable, beautifully cared-for retreat with hosts who genuinely look after their guests, Hill Haven is it. We can't wait to come back.

Barn Haven was perfect for our family getaway. The place was spotless and had ample pillows and blankets as Fall weather is beginning. We were close to a golf course, winery and supper club which we enjoyed. The space and yard were perfect for reconnecting both inside and out. Thank you!

Nice weekend getaway

We had a great stay. The amenities are as described, the house was clean, plenty of outdoor space, and location is close to Devil's Lake State Park and Baraboo. Highly recommend.

Family gathering

Great property for our family to gather and enjoy the 4th of July. Lots to do in the area, hiking, wineries, boating, etc. The only complaint I would have is that when it rained on the first night we had water coming into one of the bedrooms and the living room. Got a mop and cleaned it up and sent a text to property manager. Got no response from the manager the entire stay( from Thursday til we left on Sunday)

We are so sorry that you had issues with water during your stay. The unprecedented rains this June and July have been an unusual challenge for us to overcome. We are currently doing maintenance to ensure high-volume rains do not cause future water issues as we will strive to continue to offer a property that is comfortable and inviting. We are also so sorry and sad that you felt that we were not responding. After a member of our crew spoke to you in person he was under the impression that you had your concerns addressed. We will make sure to follow up with a direct message over the phone next time as well. We always want to communicate well and often with our guests and we pride ourselves on being locally operated and very available for on-call needs. We are so sorry that we failed on this during your stay. Thank you so much for staying and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay despite the maintenance issues. Have a great rest of your summer!

highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!

This was a great place to stay! First, about the location: The 4 of us stayed in February while we did some skiing at Cascade Mt. about 20 min away. We expect that we will be using this place to stay often in the years ahead. It is the same distance from Devil's Head. It is only about 8 or 9 minutes from Devil's Lake State Park, another place that we love in warmer weather. As far as having evening beverages or a great place to eat, the Tumble Rock Brewery is only about 5 or 6 minutes away. The Driftless Glen Brewery is about 10 minutes away, both have great food, beverages, and I believe music in the warmer weather. We went to both of these places. This location is on a very quiet rural road, but yet only minutes from these locations and the city of Baraboo if you need some shopping to do. The rental property itself is very quiet, on a rural road with very little traffic at night. We found it to be spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils, bowls, appliances. It had a ton of extra blankets, pillows, etc in a closet in the hallway. The bathroom was fully stocked with more than enough toiletries that we could possibly need. Giving a great review may make it harder for us to find available open weekends in the future, but it is an honest review. This is a perfect and relaxing place to stay. We even had a brief chance to run into the owner who is a very nice person.
