Welcome to the perfect stay in central, historic Springfield! You'll be close to everything and right on main street. An easy drive to Savannah or the beach and right next door to the local theatre and top-notch amenities to make your stay more comfortable.
The space
The apartment is in the upper story of an old historic building and sits right over an adorable antique store and adjacent to an interior design store. The amenities are top notch and all furniture is high quality!
Guest access
The guest entrance is exclusive and on the side of the building. Guests will only be able to access the apartment, but are free to visit great shop downstairs and interior design stores also in the building. The door leads straight to a stairwell, so be prepared to climb the stairs to get to the space.
Other things to note
Remember that the apartment is next to operational train tracks, so expect some noise at various times of the day. Access to the space is via stairs. Additional two roll out beds are available upon request.

The Library Inn is an excellent choice for anyone needing to stay in Effingham. Springfield has so much charm and the inn simply adds to the attractiveness. The amenities were clean, the host was friendly and the decor was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place

Beautiful suite. All the amenities you could want. This location is close to family so it was a good base point. Host was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Property!

We absolutely loved the property and will stay again when we come to town. Every detail has been considered from the ample oversize plush towels to the subtle scent when you enter the space. Just can’t say enough good things about our stay.

Weekend with our daughter and her family

This was the nicest place we have ever stayed at. It was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. The master bed was super comfortable and the master bath was amazing. Only issue was the street noise and the train BUT it was manageable. The train only came once in the early evening. We will definitely be back!!

Gorgeous 5 STAR Accommodation

Every little detail has been taken care of in this home, and it is decorated immaculately. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, smart tvs, Wi-Fi, you name it, they’ve thought of it. Very cozy! Springfield is a quaint town with shops and restaurants just waiting to be explored. Host was extremely responsive when we had questions before, during, and after our stay. We will be back ☺️

Lovely antique vintage modern blend

This place has so much you could ever want. Ancient creaky wood flooring, massive deep tub, seemingly unlimited hot water, beautiful kitchen, rocking swivel chairs, and lots of vintage knickknacks (be cautions with handsy littles. Plenty to break). Stunningly decorated to have that 1800s feel with all the best modern elements you'd want. Perfect for my little antique heart.

A jewel you don’t want to miss

My husband and I loved this place. My description could never do justice to how beautiful, authentic, and comfortable this apartment is. All of the amenities are way above the norm. You want to cozy down in the living room and read one of the many books provided. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb a set of stairs.

Slice of Gorgeous Southern Hospitality

My husband and I had a great stay at the Inn! The apartment is so gorgeous. It manges to be both elevated and cozy at the same time. The place is super tastefully furnished with meaningful furniture, some of which are lovely antiques, but you don't feel like you can't touch anything in the house. It has a truly home-y quality to it! The location is right in downtown Springfield. For us it was perfectly situated between family. We also lucked out and had a front row ticket to the MLK Day parade! You are close enough to Savannah that you can make a day trip out of it, even over multiple days, while being able to come back to a comfortable and more quiet location. We were able to get 3 very restful nights of sleep! Even with the train that came through the nearby tracks a few times a day. The apartment has everything you need, including the kitchen. And would be a great place for anyone looking to enjoy Southeastern Georgia, go antiquing, check out a small town, or have a quiet place from which you can get to a lot of fun area locations. Do recommend! With family living in Springfield, we will most definitely look to book again!

We are proud to own the oldest historical building on Main Street.
We have restored it to a charming apartment comfortable for a large family to stay and have plenty of space.
