Lux Family Lodge Boulder H/T Near Buffalo River

The luxurious Stones Throw Lodge sets on Brush Creek and forty beautiful acres. The lodge is the largest cabin located at Brush Creek Retreat. This modern rustic cabin offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sleeps up to 12 guests. There are several areas to gather for entertaining. The fire pit, wrap around porch, outdoor dining and patio areas along with the in ground boulder hot tub are guests favorites. The kids enjoy the swimming hole at Brush Creek that borders the property. The outdoor amenities definitely do not out shine what Stones Throw Lodge has to offer on the inside. Guests love the shower shed and soaking tub, fully stocked kitchen, and the beautiful comfortable furnishings. Stones Throw Lodge is remote but only 3.8 miles from the convivences of town. The Buffalo River, and hiking trails are within 15 minutes. Brush Creek runs through the property and is an amazing spot to picnic or play in the water. My family is thrilled to share such an amazing place. I know you will love and admire it as much as we do.

Property was absolutely beautiful and beautifully decorated. All the modern amenities but also a very peaceful setting in the woods. Perfect location for our float on The Buffalo River and scenic road trips that we wanted to take in Searcy County and beyond.

Beautiful place

Absolutely loved it as soon as we were pulling into the property. Creek was great with the kids, everything you need for cooking is on sight, owner was great, secluded but easy to get to, the travel guide emailed to us was just great i definitely recommend and would for sure stay again.

Amazing stay

The house and property were immaculate. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit each evening as well as the outdoor area to relax. The creek was a blast for the kids to explore and offered another place for their imaginations to run wild. They do an amazing job grooming property. Definitely one of the top places we have ever stayed!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our children enjoyed the creek and firepit. My husband and I enjoyed the pitboss and the firepit. It was good to get away and the lack of cell service was a big bonus for us. Doing the campfire songs with the kids brought back some fun childhood memories. Thanks for the memories!

An amazing retreat!

Stones Throw Lodge was really the relaxing getaway that our group needed! We had two families (9 people) stay in the Lodge and it was plenty enough room for everyone. The lodge has been beautifully decorated. Anything that you needed was there and you could tell careful thought had gone into every corner of the home. We enjoyed exploring the caverns, taking hikes, visiting small local towns and taking in the river banks (20-60 minutes away). When we arrived back at the property, the adults enjoyed the porch or the hot tub while the kids continued to explore the property and the creek. This really was a peaceful and amazing retreat that every member of our group would recommend and would go back to again!

This is a great place!

We enjoyed our stay here. I booked this place with the intention of wanting to experience the Buffalo River canoeing. We were 20 minutes from the Crocket’s rental and they were great. I was not looking at where exactly Marshall was in reference to exploring all the cool places in the Ozarks. Most of the places recommended with the cool waterfalls, swimming holes, and caverns are at least an hour away. I would have liked to know that.This is also a dry county and we brought some stuff but would have been nice to know that in advance. Overall it was a great, clean home that had everything we needed and we would definitely come back.

The Stones Throw Lodge is for those seeking luxury and comfort during their Buffalo River vacation. The Lodge has many wonderful features. The location of our home along with it beautiful setting makes it an ideal place to enjoy the Middle Buffalo River Wilderness Area. The lodge is large enough to accommodate a big group. Wrap around decks and outdoor entertaining areas create inviting spaces for family and friends to gather and enjoy their time together. The lodge is a part of Brush Creek Retreat. The forty acre compound is bordered by Brush Creek and is only about 5 miles from the Buffalo River. This remote location is only know to the locals and allows you a private Buffalo River Beach area free of tourists.
