Cozy Swiss Style Chalet with Hot Tub

Welcome to the Edelweiss Chalet! Enjoy the charm of our centrally located 950 square foot chalet at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Road and 4 miles from downtown Sandpoint. Whether you are planning to hit the slopes at Schweitzer or play in beautiful Lake Pend Orielle at the City Beach Park, you will love staying at the Edelweiss in comfort and style.

A maximum of 4 adults and 2 children is recommended with 6 guests total maximum. One dog is allowed to stay with guests.

As you walk in the front door you enter in our light and quaint chalet with cathedral ceilings and an open air concept kitchen, dining and living room. The main floor has one bedroom with a full size bed and a 3/4 bath with shower. The living room sofa has a comfortable memory foam queen size pull out bed with a cozy gas fireplace to warm up next to on Winter nights. Entering in the side door of the chalet there is a great space to put on shoes and coats as well as store skis and boots. The entire upstairs loft is the master suite with a queen size bed and an on-suite bathroom with a tub. The front deck has a conversation patio set with a gas BBQ grill to enjoy some outdoor cooking and dining. The back of the chalet has a gas fire table with 4 Adirondack chairs to enjoy Summer and Fall evenings. There is also a patio dining table and 6 chairs. The 6 person private hot tub is located just outside the side door with a privacy fence and string lights. Perfect for an apres ski soak. Enjoy!

Location is perfect. So close to bus to mountain. Close to town. Was supposed to be no pets but there was dog hair everywhere. We were not informed of this listing change. Small issue with washer/dryer but this was resolved once owner was made aware.

Visiting family for the holiday

We had a great stay! The property was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed BBQing on the deck and relaxing in the tub. It was perfect! We will definitely wanna come again.

Cozy chalet near Schweitzer

The chalet is cute and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, which was great for meals and evening hang outs. It’s close to Schweitzer-the shuttle parking is only a minute drive away. The sound of the train took a day to get used to, but we ended up liking it as we accepted it as part of the character of the area. The hot tub was amazing after a fun day on the mountain. This chalet has all of the amenities for skiers/riders too-drying rack and lots of hooks for gear, and even a ski rack.

The fireplace kept the cabin very cozy and the kitchen was well-stocked to cook Christmas dinner. On the road to Schweitzer for a great ski day!

Family time!!

So much fun. We were visiting my son & his fiance’ who live in Sandpoint. The location of the chalet was perfect for in town visits as well as on the mountain. A short drive from my son’s property & many other places we enjoyed! Idaho is beautiful in the panhandle!!! ❤️

Perfect location for our ski trip

The Chalet was perfect for our family ski trip to Schweitzer. The chalet was clean and cozy, and the hot tub was great at the end of a ski day. The only downside was the occasional train horn we heard at night, otherwise it was a wonderful location and home.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect little chalet for a family. Less than 5 minutes away from shopping but far enough to feel like you're miles away from the city life. Location is nicely set along the tree line and the kids loved watching the wild turkeys venture in and out of the trees.

Cute Chalet. Accommodating every needs.

This Chalet was in the perfect location of Sandpoint. Close to town but enough away from to feel like your getting away. Inside is cute and the outside is fun with a nice cozy fire and hot tub.

We love working and playing in this incredibly beautiful part of the country.
