The property is amazing! The views are breathtaking and the house had plenty of space for our family of 18. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding at Road America. The house was two miles from Road America which made it very easy to get to and from the wedding venue. Jeremy was very easy to talk to and answered the many questions I had during the booking process I would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay!!! Kitchen fully stocked if you plan to cook. The home is cozy, clean, and well decorated. Close to Elkhart Lake and Aspira Spa (10 minute away). We hiked Greenbush Kettle Moraine green trail 15 min from home. Host is VERY responsive! If you have a larger group- this is the place to stay!!

We did a family reunion at the Big Montana, and it was a perfect family gathering destination. The house sits in the middle of a picturesque farm, with rolling hills and pastures in the background. It was so cozy. The house is very well maintained and extremely clean, especially the bathrooms. There were enough beds and rooms for our 12 person group to spread out comfortably. The central spaces were well equipped- cupboards labeled, plenty of dishware and kitchen cooking utensils. There were more than enough towels and garbage bags, toiletries for our group. It was such an easy stay because of that! We also appreciated the welcome chips and granola bars, as well as well stocked coffee bar. We used the fire pit to roast marshmallows and went walking on the nearby ice age trail. It was also easy drives to Sheboygan and Milwaukee. This was one of our favorite family vacations so far!

My family and I have had one of the most wonderful Christmas in this place. Jeremy (host) was very attentive to all details and answered every question making sure we had a pleasant moment. The place is loaded with almost everything we needed and made us feel like home. The Christmas decorations added a touch of magic.

My group of 8 loved our stay here! Enough beds for everyone to have their own space. We loved the window seats and the open kitchen. Close to eating/shopping but far enough away to relax.

Well Appointed home for larger groups close to everything in Elkhart Lake. Plenty of space with multiple hang out spaces. Loved the fire pit! Beautiful home and property. The house was so accommodating and held all 14 of us very comfortably. We all appreciated all of the towels, kitchen supplies and the beautiful location. What a treat it was to stay at this house.

Relaxing Retreat

We had a group of 14 stay at this amazing house. The crew was busy all day at Road America for a racing event and loved coming back to the house each evening. They were able to comfortably relax and unwind after the hustle of the day. Everyone loved it.

Awesome house!

We had a great stay at the Big Montana - the house was incredible and the property was great. We were able to play yard games and cooked out every day we were there on their grill. The house had everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The hosts were responsive and the house had plenty of room for our bigger group. This was my second time staying at the Big Montana, and would definitely recommend staying here, as I will definitely be back!

Racer’s Unite!

Five “teams” of amateur racers shared the wonderful Big Montana house for our week long event at the nearby America’s National Park of Speed (Road America). We’ve been sharing rental properties for a number of years now, this has been the best one yet!

Best place to stay close to Elkhart Lake

This property is everything you could possibly want! It is beautiful inside and out. The owners were such a joy to work with and had everything perfect for our late arrival. From the driveway and stairs being salted, to the holiday decorations, firewood readily available and the house being lit up due to our late arrival, everything about this home shouts welcome, enjoy your stay. Awesome place for large family get-togethers

This was our second time at the Lodge for our holiday family shindig, gathering us from both sides of the US. Plenty of room for the 15 of us. So nice that everyone has a private space to retire to. We love the 2 living rooms….so the quiet folks who are overwhelmed with the noisy ones can retire to the lower level, makes some music, do a puzzle, chat, etc, while the upstairs nook is packed with card players, etc. We have dogs and appreciate their being accommodated, as well and that it is easy to walk them. Kitchen is well-equipped for a large group, although we did bring a large stew pot. Plenty of bathrooms, cozy beds, WiFi, so those interested could take in the game on the big screen and others of us walked the nearby Ice Age Trail. The owners are VERY responsive, accommodating and pleasant, should you need their assistance at any time. Grocery store isn’t too far away. Great place!

No One Wanted to Leave!

We had a wonderful stay!!❤️ The home was very clean & inviting. We stayed with friends & their families to be close to Road America & hiking trails. We are "shoes off in the house" crew, so it was GREAT to have the sofa right as you entered to take off shoes. Loved having luggage racks & hooks, which are many times missing from a rental. The kids loved the space for running outside & playing football. We saw so many birds...LOTS of blue jays...& deer & cows way down across the road. Plenty of cooking items. We make meals together, & many times "fully stocked" is not true to its word, but here it was for sure. I think the only thing missing was a pie pan, & we realize not everyone is making a pie.😁 There were plenty of towels & dishes for everyone, too. The views were beautiful with the fall colors coming. We used the fireplace but not the outdoor pit...only because of some rain...but there were nice chairs & benches available outside. LOVED that we had some starter firewood available for us at the house, especially since we forgot to pick it up at the Piggly Wiggly, which was only about 15 minutes away. Smart tvs were great for streaming what we wanted specifically , but there were other services available on the tvs you could use. If you have up to 16 people, you will have to break up to eat, but kids loved the treat of eating with a movie one night in front of the tv and the weather was ok for using the beautiful porch to eat. We will stay here again for sure!!!

This property was perfect in many ways for our family. It was so clean and well appointed in every way. The setting is serene, beautiful and relaxing. Our four visiting family members from Chandler, AZ really liked the views. The cousins from Az and the Milwaukee cousins bonded during games on the lawn and games in the house. The adults had plenty of space and enjoyed chatting around the table and fire pit.Our host was very responsive and checked in several times during our three-day stay to make sure all was well. We hope we can get back there again.
