Very private. Clean. Quiet. Had trouble finding the drive at first, walk around house to rooms was pretty dark when I got there. Parking and unloading was a little confusing at first.

My fiancĂ© and I stayed here for two nights, and overall we had a great experience. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the property was very pretty. It’s walking distance to downtown Landrum which is very convenient. The only issue we had is that the listing isn’t clear that the apartment is attached to the owner’s home, so you have to walk around their home to get to the apartment. A few times we woke up to footsteps above us. However this was not a big issue for us, we still had a wonderful stay here.

Very clean room! Beautiful view! Shops were within walking distance. Such a wonderful, nice room, I hated to leave. Hosts were very thoughtful in giving you anything and everything you could possibly need, communication was great. Sure wish there was a place like that where I live for sale! I have stayed several places over the years and this one is by far the best place I have ever stayed at. Thank you for making my trip so very enjoyable!

A quiet relaxing haven

We loved the quiet location; a perfect escape surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, a place to relax at the end of each busy day. I can only imagine the garden's beauty in the Spring, we visited between Christmas and New Year's.Everything we needed was available, we wanted for nothing. I highly recommend this property.

Location is close to downtown. The apartment is in the basement with entrance at the back of property with different levels of pavers to manage luggage and walking. the accommodations are adequate. There are lawns for sitting and viewing of nature. The host was very nice and assisted us with our luggage when we arrived.

I lived and worked in Germany for more than five years, England for three years, and studied in the New media Atelier, at the Academy of Fine Arts-Prague, in addition to receiving my Masters in Print-media from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have traveled extensively throughout Central and Eastern Europe and Morocco, exhibiting in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Bulgaria. I formerly served as the Assistant Director and Faculty for the Prague Studio Program at SAIC, enriching and exceptional experience for me. One of my great joys is to experience new places and be inspired. Recently, my work with Art for Health has taken me to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Art for Health was started seven years ago by a group of artists and medical doctors committed to providing and improving health care for under-served communities. As artists, we support the work of the global health program at Rush Medical Center by traveling with the medical teams to the partner communities. We hope you visit and find out how much the area of the country has to offer. We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere on our beautifully landscaped 3.5 acres.

A nature pathway that goes around the property of natural beauty and you can find your own tranquil spot to relax and rejuvenate. This property is essentially a bird sanctuary, with all types of bird and wildlife, and even though right on the edge of town you would never guess. I love the peace and quiet and serenity that comes from the landscape, trees, plants, and wildlife.
