Trails Retreat is the “brick house” at the end of the road behind Trails End pub
You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place.
If you love riding anything with wheels or snowmobiles, this is the place to be!!!!
We’re at the end of the road with tons of parking, walking distance to the bar and convenient store.
Trails Retreat has tons of space and can easily sleep 20 people- with a beautiful fully screened in patio you can enjoy the outdoors “bug free”

The Lodge Retreat has plenty of space in and out for everyone.
Sit at the fire pit and enjoy the complimentary S’mores or inside the beautiful fully screened in porch and enjoy the days and nights bug free, we added a fold out couch for a nap, or you can sleep with nature. There is an incredibly long table in the gazebo to put the buffet of food you grill- safe from the bugs
We have yardzee, and cornhole or hang out in the garage bar that opens to the backyard and play ping pong 🏓 or just sit and enjoy nature
Inside Trails Lodge is 2 very spacious living rooms 1 has a 65 inch tv, the other has an arcade game with all the old favorites (pac man, donkey Kong, frogger etc) and also a scrabble corner.
With many other board games to play, you can even try one of the puzzles đŸ§©
The Lodge has a fully stocked kitchen Plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate bar.
3 bedrooms, 2 pull out sofas, and the cloud couch that all seats fully recline give lots of sleeping space
Two full bathrooms with hairdryers, flat irons and lots of extra amenities in case you forget something, plus a laundry room that goes out to the garage with storage space to hang your gear

Our stay at the Trails Lodge Retreat was everything we needed. The place is so unique and extremely comfortable for a group of 7. We all had a nice place to sleep wire comfortable beds and lots of room. They really thoughts of everything when it came to extra amenities and it was all well organized. We loved playing the many board games provided in front of the fire. It was the perfect little family getaway. We would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you again!

The property was beautiful and full of everything that we could ever need. Christina was super responsive when an issue came up and got it resolved the same day. She was so kind and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. The property was the perfect setting for a family 60th birthday party.

Great out of the way Spot

Had a great time there were 9 adults and the house provided plenty of room. The house naturally stays cool and the outside gazebo provides a respite from the bugs so you can enjoy the night air.

The house was big and welcoming. They have everything you need for a trip away. There was an issue when we first arrived, i contacted Christina and she had the problem taken care of within 30 minutes. Its a great place to go to get away from the city neighbors are very welcoming also.

It was an amazing place and we had a great time. The host was very gracious to have extra ammenities since I forgot my toothbrush at home.

Great Place!

We were there with a group of 4 Jeeps. Plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers. The bar is with in walking distance.This was the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at, hands down. The host tried to think of everything. They even had firewood in bundles you could purchase for a campfire so you didn’t have to go find it at a store. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

What a great spot for our large family to gather to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday. This house came fully stocked and I mean everything was provided. We could have packed clothes and nothing more and would have been completely fine. The no air part was hard only because we picked a weekend that was over 95 each day but there was plenty of fans to make the nights comfortable. The neighbors were really friendly and the location of the gas station was really nice. 10/10 would recommend the pizza and breadsticks from there.

We have stayed here in the past with another group. Nice unique house. The driveway is very very tight with trailers of any size, it’s doable but anything 25’ and over is a challenge.

This place exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do it justice. We had a large group of adults and a couple of kids for a family weekend away. We set up volleyball and had a cornhole tournament in the yard. We enjoyed the giant firepit every night. And when it rained - we used the screened in porch and garage space to keep hanging out outside playing board games. It was so well stocked and organized (loved how things were labeled!) there was plenty of parking for all of our 8 vehicles! and communication with the owner was excellent. Would highly recommend this rental.

ATV weekend get away

We enjoyed our stay very much. The ATV trails in Leota are some of the best in our great state of MI! The only issue was that mice have made their way into the residence. We took exception to this and slipped Mickey a mickey and showed him the exit.

Family for father’s memorial

The home was large enough for us to spread out. We had 11 people stay one night and 9 the other two nights. We had plenty of space. The house has a lot of cool features that you don’t see anywhere else. It was quirky in a charming way. We were gone most of the time during the day, so we did not explore the area.

Fantastic Decor and perfect for entertaining

We took our 4 adult children and their significant others away for a weekend to bond and do our yearly kayaking trip. The cottage was perfect! We fell in love with all the decorations and enjoyed taking in all the property had to offer. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and feel comfortable. Christina was amazing and quick to respond to any questions i had. As a family we couldn't decide which room to hangout in because everything was so cozy and spacious. We loved the outdoor screened in patio and how close we were to everything we needed. Looking forward to going back. Thank You Christina!

Great option for a large group

We had a group of 15 people that stayed for three nights and we really enjoyed using this house. It is in the country, so you need to accept some of the things that come with that, but if you aren't afraid of a little country living, it may be a great spot for your group. The nearby restaurant/bar was a great spot for a drink and some tasty bar food. The only thing to be aware of is there is no AC in the house. They have large sliding doors and 3-4 fans that definitely help. Also, it is a brick structure so it seemed to keep the temp at a tolerable level while we were there in early August. One of my favorite spots was the screened room in the back yard. It was cooler on the warmest days and also gave you a break from some of the summertime bugs we get to enjoy in Michigan. We would definitely consider staying in this home again.
