After a fun day on Grand Lake or the Disney trails, escape to this super cozy remodeled cottage to clean up in a new subway-tiled shower, prep food in the vintage-inspired kitchen, grill on the big deck, look for deer walking through the trees, and get amazing sleep on new mattresses. Wake up to sun streaming through the living room windows onto antique hardwood floors, and enjoy coffee on the patio, listening to the birds sing and watching squirrels and chipmunks scurry by.

This funky mid century home, nestled in the trees at Grand lake, is happy, comfortable, and totally remodeled!

2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, large living room, dining area. New a/c and heat. Big back deck with gas grill and plenty of seating. Covered front porch. Lots of parking - room for trucks, trailers, and ATVs.

Ride your ATV directly to Little Blue, less than a mile away. Public boat ramp is right around the corner. Enjoy a short tree-lined walk from the house to see a pretty view of the water. Take a 5 minute drive to Disney state park for fishing and swimming.

Secluded location surrounded by trees and nature. Quiet, safe neighborhood.

Please note - there are stairs to the front door, stairs in the house, and stairs off the back deck.

Other things to note
Nightly price is for double occupancy. There is $10 fee per additional guest.

"Bridgette's place was super. It had everything and more that we needed. Simply and thoughtfully decorated. Bridgette was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She even left a couple of blueberry muffin mixes and microwave popcorn to enjoy. This cute, cozy home was so peaceful, serene, and had a private feel. We'll definitely be looking for its availability next time we're in the area! I'd definitely recommend Bridgette's perfect place!"

“My girlfriend and I stayed at the blonde squirrel cottage hoping for a quiet weekend to ourselves. This place absolutely delivered. Trees surround the property making it a secluded and private getaway while the abundance of wildlife makes you feel closer to nature. We loved to eat our meals outside on the deck while listening to the birds in the forest. The kitchen felt clean and brand new, and had the coolest toaster and fridge we’ve seen in a vacation rental. We were lucky enough to experience a thunderstorm during our visit, which was amplified just perfectly by the metal roof for us to enjoy it as we fell asleep.... "We LOVED staying here!! From the privacy to the convenience. We had 2 trucks with trailers to park and had plenty of room. The house was so nice. It was clean, spacious and came with all the necessities. The big deck with a grill was so nice to have. We were able to ride our SXS to the trails which was very handy. I can't leave out the momma deer with her baby we got to see in the trees that surround the house. Last but not least the owner was so easy to work with. She checked in with us and made sure we knew we could message her if we had any issues. When we get ready for our next trip back we will definitely check to see if this place is available!"
