Relaxing Weekend

The home was very inviting and so cozy. There was everything we needed and a perfect environment to read, relax and enjoy the sunsets. The walk to the water was also nice and not too far. Overall a wonderful trip.

Peace and Quiet

We wanted a getaway that was peaceful and quiet and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owners thought of everything from spices to coffee to pots and pans to soap to cozy blankets. We will definitely be back!

The house was a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was a bit far from the closest town, but if you want to be secluded and away this is the place for you. Great hosts and beautiful home!

Nice place to stay, clean and designed well and very clean. Wish it had direct water access and was told she was of time I’d have to get there on a gravel road.

The listing does clearly state that the water access is down the road (not direct) and the home is rural/secluded; however, it did not specifically state that the road is gravel between the house and the water access. Best Labor Day Trip

We had a marvelous time and the place was very cozy and comfortable for our family. It was very clean as well and the kitchen had everything we needed to help us cook the food we brought and enjoy our stay! Thanks to our host as well for all her help and communication. Lovely retreat!

A few friends used the house for a “reading retreat” where we read, napped, cooked, and ate together for a few days, and it was wonderful! One of the most well-stocked and homey house rentals I’ve ever experienced. Hosts were very reliable and communicative.

Sara, was an excellent host, great communication to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as listed. Lots of space to spread out. It was a great Fall view from the front yard. Lake access is a little ways down the road. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazingly perfect!!

Sara's cottage was perfect for us! We could tell that thought, love, and effort was put into every detail of the space. The beds were so comfortable, towels super soft, great little workspace, kitchen very organized with all possible accessories, and everything felt clean and new - but still homey and welcoming. Highly recommend!!
