You'll have everything you need for a relaxing vacation at this cozy studio in Arcata! You can walk, bike, or drive right downtown, where plenty of restaurants and shops await you. Feel free to visit Cal Poly Humboldt or venture into gorgeous Redwood Park just a short stroll from your front door. You'll be centrally located right by Humboldt Beach and Redwood National and State Parks as well, so it's easy to head out for an adventurous day.

Once you've explored the many sights nearby, come back to your charming studio to find your own personal haven. Unwind on the quaint shared patio with your favorite book and a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. (Please note that because this is a semi-detached studio with the homeowner and a long-term tenant on the grounds, the courtyard is not entirely private.) Then, around sunset, head back inside and stream your favorite movies from the comfort of your bedroom. Slip into a pair of pajamas and get under the covers for a well-deserved good night's rest. Enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet at this lovely studio!

Very nice space

The space was clean, comfortable, and restful to stay in. Also walking distance to restaurants and healthy food stores. Though there is no official kitchen, there is a fridge, microwave, and toaster oven
 all we needed. We will stay here again for sure.

This stay was very cozy, very unique layout with cozy, clean decor. A little dated decor, but it worked for the vibe

Private and Lovely Hideaway

I'm pretty sure this is the closest rental you can get to Cal Poly Humboldt's campus and the owners have thoughtfully provided a wonderful little garden hideaway. A generous room with every little detail thought through, you will rest easy here and find all the amenities at hand. True, there is no kitchen with this unit (there is a mini-fridge, microwave, small oven and some dishes for your convenience), but why would you miss out on all of the wonderful local food places within just a few blocks? Arcata offers so many wonderful shops, eateries, and places to see; this rental is the perfect place to return to for some rest and relaxation, after a day of Happy Humboldt adventures.

Close to Humbolt, Redwood and community park. Downtown Arcata is also a short 10-15 minute walk. Property is clean. It’s a bit challenging that there’s no food prep area or kitchen sink. Had to wash dishes in the toilet. A small basin would be great to rinse coffee cups and small plates.

Vacasa management is disappointing

This property is very clean and well kept in a great location. The biggest issue with the listing, which they try to clarify, is that there really isn't a kitchenette involved. There is one sink in the bathroom and several appliances (mini fridge, Keurig, microwave, etc.) in a closet. There are bowls, plates, etc, but no counter space to prep food and no dishwasher, drainer, or appropriate sink for cleaning. The listing tries to make this clear, but "kitchenette" is still misleading. The other issue with out stay is with Vacasa as a property manager. We've found the local management frequently unresponsive and hard to reach, and this stay was no exception. Upon arrival, there was a truck in our parking spot and construction equipment blocking our door. We resolved the issue with the very nice crew doing the work, but phone calls and messages to Vacasa went unanswered for three days until after we left the property. Vacasa's management seems totally computer generated, they are quick to bill you and send reminders about checking in and out, but if you have questions or need help on-site, no humans can be reached. Disappointing for guests, and property owners should be aware.

It is as pictured, the bed was comfortable and the hot water pressure in the shower was also good, which were the two most important things to me. There isn't much sound insulation between this and the adjacent house, but the neighbor was generally quiet with only one exception that was quickly addressed. There isn't a desk or table, only the bathroom countertop, which was the only notable lack during my stay.
