We loved it!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were cute and comfortable. Our favorite part was getting to roast hot dogs and marshmallows in the fire pit! 10/10 would stay here again!

Great Pet friendly cabin

Super close to town and in a great neighborhood, this cabin is well appointed and has everything you’d need for a stay. The basement gaming area is a great distraction and the beautiful back yard is great. It was a bit too cold for us to enjoy it, but will def be back in summer!

Beautiful setting

Beautiful setting with large outdoor area to enjoy. We enjoyed the frequent visits of deer on the property. The large screened in deck was great to enjoy outdoor cooking or relaxing evenings. We had our grandkids stay and the game room was a big hit with them when we had some rainy days. Excellent location with easy access.

Family getaway

The cabin and property is enchanting. Perfectly anointed and comfortable to just stay inside. The weather was unexpectedly freezing, but the host was so gracious to allow us to extend our departure time to troubleshoot what to do when the roads closed on our day to leave.

Serene and idylic

We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the deck, watching the babbling brook and all the wildlife was so relaxing (the deer and bunny all but never left the property). Cabin is beautiful all pine with matching furniture. Enough games and activities to last a month. Murphy was great too with it's many good restaurants, art scene, antiquing with plenty of parking and very uncrowded. Definitely would come stay here again.

Fantastic Thanksgiving Weekend in Murphy NC

We had a fantastic time at this cabin and in Murphy NC! The cabin is a very short walk to the Hiawassee river's edge and also the neighborhood lodge and river access point. Lots of amenities, two fire pits, a screened in back porch and gas fireplace in the living room. The cabin just felt like home. We hated to have to leave. We will definitely be back one day!

Folk School Trip

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked perfectly with 3 bedrooms/3 baths for 3 couples on a Folk School trip. Only suggestion we would have is to have warmer light bulbs in the kitchen/family room area or more individual lights. We found it hard to strike a balance of comfortable lighting for aging eyes.

Great getaway

Wonderful stay at the cabin with family for Christmas! We appreciated the Christmas tree to set the festive mood and the cabin was great! Dog friendly and beds provided for them too! We Loved the outdoor furniture, screened porch and relaxing views. Great birding, on the warmer winter days, saw deer walking through daily as well. Well stocked kitchen with pots, pans and everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner! Plenty of space for three couples as well! Great communication as well, no issues at all!

Great house and location

Great house with a lot of amenities. Great location. Clean on the inside. Had toiletries, towels, sheets, blankets. Ceiling fans, baday, games. Only issues was no cabinet space for your incoming food and internet would cut out some. 9.5/10 star review. Would return.

Fantastic home, great neighborhood, close to lots!

We rented this home for two weeks to stay while on a work rotation, coincidentally during the largest hurricane to ever hit the region. Thank heaven there was no damage in the local area, but the host did an excellent job of checking on us before and after the storm to make sure we were ok and had all we needed. Home was super clean and well cared-for. They allow pets, but the ONLY evidence of such were the provided dog beds- the place wasn’t at all torn up or stinky. We will definitely return if work again has us down there!!

Nice and quiet

We were pleased with our stay overall, the cabin and the area was nice and quiet. Loved the game room for the kids! We were able to watch deer cross the backyard at the creek. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. My only complaint is the lack of communication with the property manager prior to arriving. I reached out several times with questions and was only answered once.
