This is a very bright and spacious home for families or large groups. It will be welcoming and ready for your getaway to Jasper park as the park gates (entrance to Jasper national park) are only 15 minutes out of the town of Hinton.

You'll enjoy our place, it is a very spacious home with lots of parking. A full kitchen, smart TV's and 6 queen sized beds.

Swedish holiday away from Scandinavia

We were content with the house and convenience to Jasper gateway. Enjoyed the weather on the last day with a dinner on the deck.

For the price, you’ll get an adequate, basic place with lots of room and six full beds. The positives of this place are that it has loads of room—lots of beds (and they are comfortable) and two kitchen and living room areas—one up and one down.Although it is located on a bare corner lot in a heavily residential area—no parks, playgrounds, or green space really close by—it was very quiet when we stayed. This seems like a place suited for multiple-people work crews or recreational visitors who just want a place to sleep over. The ambience is a bit lacking: the place does need a more thorough cleaning and organizing of kitchen amenities (pots, pans, utensils) and functional soap dispensers.

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. We had a large group of 8 adults and two young children and we had plenty of space. James, our host, was very quick to communicate with us throughout the whole process. The bottle of wine and cookies was very thoughtful. The house was clean and spacious including a second kitchen and eating area in the basement which was great. It also has a second fridge which we made good use of. We had four vehicles and there was plenty of parking to easily accommodate everyone. The neighborhood is quiet and it is a great place to walk around. I would definitely stay here again. James is a great host. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Excellent large home in Hinton

My family and I enjoyed our stay here, firstly the host was kind enough to provide us with baked goods and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. From start to finish it was a seamless experience. The house itself is very well suited for large groups, with plenty of beds and separate bedrooms so that everyone has their privacy and space. Location wise, it's quiet and not too far from Jasper National Park, making it a decent alternative to staying in Jasper if you struggled with affordable alternatives there like we did.

The overall cleanliness was good and the check in process was easy. The kitchen needs a little updating with a working oven and the faucet was pretty hard to use as it was very loose and wouldn’t turn off very easily. If the weather is expected to be warm during your stay (summer months) there is no air conditioning. Sleeping in the basement was a little cooler though and each bedroom had a fan. Depends on your comfort level. Overall it was a good place to accommodate our group with a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge and some snacks on the counter.

Base for Jasper National Park

We stayed in the house for one week in June 2024 for our trips to Jasper National Park. The house was very clean and well equiped. When we arrived there was a nice welcome gift of the owner at the table. Jasper was only 75 km away and the drive to Jasper was every time a gift and surprising due to the presence of wild life, so beautiful. And if you love to watch those long running trains, they are not far away but not disturbing the tranquality of the environment.

Jasper Family Trip

What an impeccably clean home! Our family was thrilled to finally find a home that could house all of us near Jasper. This home was spotlessly clean and just what we needed after long days of outdoor activity. We were greeted warmly with a welcome basket of homemade muffins - which were very much appreciated by our bunch - and a handbook with very helpful information for restaurants, grocery stores, nearby sights and distances to said sights, etc
 If we travel to Jasper again with such a big group, we will definitely try to book with James again. As it is, we have already referred two other families to this listing as they plan for their trip westward. Great house to gather as a group, with many conveniences close by.

La casa estå muy bien en la primera planta, sin embargo la planta baja es fría y sobre todo ruidosa, al estar la caldera junto a las habitaciones. El baño de esta planta estaba inacabado, concretamente el techo.
