Welcome to the Redbud area of Abilene, Texas! This charming vacation rental is the perfect home away from home for your next getaway. This house is conveniently located close to many prominent locations: close to Target, Walmart, Wysteria Place, the Abilene Mall, and many restaurants. 12 minutes from ACU, 5 minutes from McMurry University, 12 minutes from Hardin-Simmons University, 4 minutes from Target, 10 minutes from historic downtown Abilene.


The living room features an oversized armchair and comfy couch.

The kitchen is fully stocked to cook whatever you need. The stained countertops make for a farmhouse feel.


This house has three cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful night's sleep. And one bedroom features a desk for work or creativity.


One of the highlights of this charming home is the location—centrally located within walking distance from Abilene's biggest park and splash pad. (Two blocks away.) And close to Target, Walmart, and the mall. About 20 minutes from Abilene State Park and the world-famous Perini Ranch. And 12 minutes from downtown Abilene and the SODA district.


Whether you're heading into town for a college graduation, freshman preview day, family reunion, or work, this house is in a great location with great amenities.

Super easy check-in and check-out. Facilities were good as could be expected and the rooms are really nice! The games and playing cards were a great touch! Hubby loved that there was a box fan too!The host had excellent communication and was quick to respond when we needed him. We'd totally stay in this house again when visiting the area!

Overall, more bang for your buck. Check in is easy the owner will send you a code the day of your stay. The home is an older home, but dont let that keep you away. The home has been freshly updated with paint and seems like the floors may jave been updated. I am not really sure the home may be a new listing for VRBO as I have never seen it advertised. However, whatever the case may be the home was very charming and has a real laid back feel. The bed i slept in was incredibly comfortable. The home has a nice patio and if you want to bbq one must bring your own grill. Luckily I am from Abilene and I have friends with multiple grills so one of my friends bbq'd for me. I know this is a lot of information but bottom line you will love the home and location and I am looking forward for a future stay.

Great weekend

We needed a place to stay for a wedding in Abilene and this location was great. Very clean, nice rooms and convenient location. Check in was also smooth which helps greatly.

Clean Comfy Peaceful

From the cozy blankets to snuggle on the couch to the little extras like shampoo and Q tips, this was a great home away from home. Having both a Keurig and brew coffee maker was the perfect touch.

The bath tub didn’t drain. Owner couldn't get it fixed so we had to leave and find another place to stay. The home only had 1 full bathroom

In town for marriage event

Wonderful retreat for small family. Clean, cute, well equipped for meals, entertainment "base camp" at affordable rate. Host was easy to contact but no need, all was laid out and comfy.

Perfect little house

Great relaxing place
