This little gem was a perfect place for two. It is cosy, comfortable, and very clean. We had an issue with the remote and the host responded right away. There are all the shops, restaurants and grocery within minutes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved staying in this cozy little basement suite- the location is great, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It was a very quiet neighborhood. It is very small, so wouldn’t want more than 2 people obviously, but it was quaint and we were comfortable! Unfortunately I had so much fun I forgot pictures, but here is a picture of Henderson Lake that is very close by.Alfred was a wonderful host and checked in multiple times to give us check in info and make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Perfect for me

Alfred was very communicative and helpful when needed. We had a peaceful stay, sleeping on comfortable bed. The bathroom a bit small for my liking but clean and practical. The location is perfect. Everything we needed was only 5 minutes away.

Cozy and quiet

Overall we liked the space.The metal bed frame squeaks loudly every time you move.A frying pan under counter has crusty old food on it.The entryway wasn’t very inviting because of the leaves & dirt.I’ve used VRBO for 25 yrs & I wasn’t impressed with the untidiness of the space..

We are so sorry you didn't have a good experience at our house. Please accept our apologies for any shortfalls from your expectations. I wish you would have communicated concerns to us so we could have addressed them during your stay. ‬If I can address each issue, please allow me. The bed frame squeaking has never been brought to our attention. It is a little less than two years old and I was not aware of any problems with it. I was over there after I received your review and could not replicate the problem you reported in your review. Secondly, regarding unclean pans, I've brought it to the attention of our cleaners and they are very sorry for that. We use them for a number of our properties and they have great reviews for cleanliness. They are human and clearly missed this. Thirdly, regarding the leaves and dirt at the front entrance. The driveway for the property is surrounded by large trees that are leafing out for spring. Daily, they shed the catkins prior to leaves appearing. If the wind blows (and it does), leaves blow around. We certainly aren't going to apologize for having trees on the property. There was no dirt, just leaves. Lastly, in our instructions to guests, we say twice that if there is anything that we need to address or something our cleaners have missed, please call us and we'll get things taken care of right away. We received no communication whatsoever from you regarding any problems so we didn't even have an opportunity to address your concerns. We have had nothing but great reviews on the condition of our properties regarding amenities and cleanliness. Your comment regarding “untidiness” is completely unwarranted. We looked back on the cameras to see you outside smoking on the bench wrapped in a blanket from the bedroom and dragging it across the driveway. Something doesn’t fit here when you speak about the condition of our suite when compared to the respect you showed it. Please accept our apologies for any shortfalls from your expectations. I wish you would have communicated concerns to us so we could have addressed them.
