Family Lake House Steps from Rec 1

Make some memories in this new family-friendly lake house located steps away from Lake Almanor Country Club’s “Rec 1.” The recreation area includes access to a playground overlooking the lake, swimming beach, tennis and pickle ball courts, bocce ball and summer concerts at the bandshell. The house is close to the bandshell, so you can enjoy the music right from the deck are newly added artificial turf! Spend the day out on the lake with the kids, take part in the community's 9 hole golf course, or relax at the local club house for dinner. The newly built house has air conditioning and many other modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. With rec 1 right across the street and the beach and boat launch a short walk away, you and your family are sure to make some memories!

Three couples came for a long weekend to play pickleball, golf and boat with two other couples in another house.Pros: cute house, very clean, loved the outdoor seating, plenty of towels, plenty of eating utensils and dishes, perfect location for us - right across pickleball courts and live concert plus, walking distance from the boat dock, very responsive owners.Cons: no end table or lamps in third bedroom only overhead lighting. Only overhead lighting in living room as well. All rentals (not just this home) should provide paper towels, tissue, bath soap or body wash & plenty of tp. Do people actually travel with these items, especially if flying in? Also, it would be helpful to put the house address on the front of the house (in large font) instead of around the back in small lettering.

Family friendly house in a perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay at this Lake Almanor cabin! The interior was nicely updated and clean. Plenty of room for two families with small kids. The location absolutely makes this property! Its right across from a rec center with pickleball courts, a playground, and beach access. Will definitely be staying here again.

This is a great place to get away, unwind and enjoy all the amenities of Lake Almanor. Highly recommended! We loved our week at the lake.

Perfect Wedding Weekend in Almanor

We stayed at Brad and Megan’s beautiful cabin for our wedding weekend and it was the absolute most perfect experience. The house is beautiful and in a great location, and the hosts (+ Dana) were very easy to communicate with. Almanor is a special place to us and our families and we definitely hope to stay here again! 10/10!!

Lake Almanor Adventure

Great location, close to pickleball courts and playground. The launch ramp is 1/4 mile away. The cabin’s air conditioning saved the day with temperatures above 90°! We would rent again and again and again! Thanks for an excellent family vacation.

Cabin life at the lake.

It is a beautiful clean place! So close and convenient to park, lake and the Saturday night concert! It had a beautiful lawn and good size decks! The kids loved playing around the large lawn area! Only draw back, the kitchen needed to be stocked more for cooking; utensils etc. More written communication was needed. No gate key (code)access was issued.

Great family house

We had an incredible time at your lake house. We mainly used it as a home base as my parents live on the lake here. We have rented many houses here since I was a kid and yours was one of the best- clean, functional, location, and all the amenities you could need. Thank you for being responsive to any needs that came up as well. We look forward to renting next summer. Thank you!

Perfect Location

My family and I had an amazing time at the lake house! It was very warm and inviting. The location Is spectacular being right by Rec 1, the playground and the beach. Brad was very responsive to our needs as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Relax, refresh and renew!

The house is quite large and could easily sleep 8 adults, or a large group. Just my husband and I were there for a quick 3 night get away. The house has everything you need for cooking . The gas fireplace was a nice surprise and kept us warm while we watched tv the first night as it was chilly out. I liked watching the sunrise at 6:30 as it slowly lite up the tall pine trees. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading. The property is across from the pickle ball courts and the rec center. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. Good restaurants are the Red Onion, Pizza and the Unity Grill. Outside the Country Club we enjoyed the gourmet cooking at the Sandpiper and for breakfast the Blue Oxen in Westwood. Great hosts!

Modern A Frame

This home is right in the thick of a resort type development. It’s right across from the recreation center, and that was perfect for my 9 year old granddaughter.
