This property is an absolute gem. The house itself is spacious and full of character. It's an older house, but the owners have gone above and beyond with amenities, from the modern washer/dryer, AC in the bedrooms, smart TVs, and the local maple syrup and s'mores kit were a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. All linens and towels were provided, along with a fully stocked kitchen. The pool and fire pit were both fantastic and made this place a great summer getaway. The owners were responsive, but not at all intrusive, and truly went above and beyond to make our vacation a memorable one. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful getaway.

The property is so peaceful and serene. Four girls friends just wanted a relaxing trip together to swim, play cards and laugh. This home was everything we hoped for!They provided all the linens and towels, which make it stress free! We would love to visit again!

Wonderful foliage Oct weekend

Cozy farmhouse set in a beautiful setting high on a a mountain road above Hartland. Fireplace and fire pit used a lot with free firewood. Hosts were very attentive. Comfortable beds.

Farmhouse gem

Beautiful and quiet location but close to highway and Woodstock. Lovely farmhouse but with all modern amenities. Beautiful pool. Lovely outdoor seating. Wonderful hosts, quick to respond. We will go back!!

Beautiful

We had a great time. The landscape is gorgeous, the house was a good fit for our family (two adults, three kids), and our hosts were friendly, helpful, and great communicators. The pool was the highlight and we spent most of our time relaxing and splashing around there. Such an excellent week!

Fantastic Getaway House

Brin and Jessica were fantastic in their communication, especially when VRBO didn't help at all. It's obvious they take great pride in the house--guests will never encounter the "Absentee Landlord" problem here. They do an excellent job with their descriptions; it is an old house but that's also part of the charm! My wife and I loved our visit!!

Fun family time

I will start by saying this property may not be for everyone but we absolutely loved our stay! If you need a brand new house this place is not for you, if you can appreciate and older clean house in the Vermont countryside you’ll love it.we especially loved the Beautiful pool area, and the fire pit. Host even included dry firewood. I can only imagine how beautiful this area would be in fall or after a fresh snow just might have to return to find out!

Hartland Farmhouse in Autumn

In determining an overall rating, I evaluate function and expectations, as set by the online profile. The farmhouse is functional and as advertised in the pictures and description in the online profile; therefore the five-star rating. The family rooms are large, the kitchen is well supplied, the bathroom, although small, looks recently remodeled and the hosts are great! As stated in the profile, there is a smart tv with lots of streaming possibilities for those who have streaming services. Lots of quiet and beauty, but not too far from great activities and restaurants in the Upper Valley of VT.
