Holistic Haven offers a distinctive stay with our freshly remodeled lower studio cottage that serves as a calm retreat for your body, mind, and spirit. This one-of-a-kind eco-friendly studio cottage does not disappoint. This green stay runs off of a gray water system. Everytime you take a bath or wash the dishes, you water the plants in the host's greenhouse! Buttery textures from the American Clay plaster creates a non-toxic work of art on the walls. Repurposed and oxidized galvanized metal in the bathroom reflects the amber light throughout the space. One of our favorite features is the regenerative, cushy cork flooring. The organic luxury design will surprise you with the many distinct details that make the unit so engaging. The cottage includes a full kitchen with couture copper countertops, new appliances, two types of coffee makers and an electric kettle. The wood bar was milled here, at Whitethorn Construction, along with the majority of custom wood furniture designed by the host. Here, almost every piece of furniture tells a story and has an artist behind it. The open bedroom looks out through the trees and onto the Pacific Ocean. Sleep in a bed with premiere bedding, including a luxurious mattress that hugs the body. The connecting open living space offers magnificent views and a cozy full-sized, sleeper sofa. The HD smart TV includes: Max, Showtime, Peacock, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and Paramount Plus for movie nights. The bathroom is one of the most tranquil areas of the cottage, featuring a new Woodbridge spa and heated air jet tub with chromotherapy. Soak in a bath with herbs from our garden or take a rain shower as you take in the view. Did you know there are over 200 species of birds in Kings Range National Conservation? Lay back and relax and watch the diverse wildlife circle the ridge. Then enjoy the slippers and robe we have waiting for you. The exterior is an experience in itself! Our double stock tub experience is coming very soon, you will soak and watch the world go by from your own private, floating deck. Roll out your yoga mat and stand in mountain pose as you stare at the majestic mountain views. Stroll over to the firepit with a bubbling water feature. Even make s’mores and take in the unforgettable thick blanket of stars. Feel like a BBQ? Hit the pantry and pull out the apron; our propane grill is ready for your next cookout. Once you book with us, we will send you all the exciting details. Please feel free to text or call anytime. The host lives in the upstairs unit, please be quiet between the hours of 11 PM- 6 AM. We do have an outdoor cat, Bobo, please keep your dog on a leash at all times as he is very friendly and may try to come and say hello.
