Perfecto!

Comfortable, spacious, clean. Everything we wanted and more—nice little touches you’d expect at a nice hotel. Plenty of parking. On top of all that, a fabulous hot tub! We highly recommend this place.

Hosting Perfection

Wow - these hosts have clearly put in a ton of time and effort to make this home a perfect getaway. From quality construction details to the many thoughtful decorating and convenience features, they are an all-star team. The most well-curated VRBO I've ever stayed in. The ocean view from the main living area, deck and hot tub is fantastic. The beds are all super comfortable and you will find everything you need for your stay.

What a great place!!

During my brief stay in Shelter Cove, I had the opportunity to experience the charm of the barn for a couple of days. This home was, without a doubt, one of the most delightful accommodations I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The attention to detail in the decor and layout was simply outstanding, creating a space that was not only well-organized but also exquisitely adorned. What truly set this place apart were the numerous additional amenities, which added an extra layer of comfort and luxury to the overall experience.

Hello we are Mike and Kelly! My husband is a general contractor and has a talent for turning distressed properties into beautiful homes. I am a realtor in the Wheatland, CA area and I moonlight as a designer for my husbands rehab projects. We have a blended family of 6 children and recently became grandparents. When we are not working we are probably relaxing on a beach somewhere or enjoying life with our big family.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

When we visited Shelter Cove for the first time we just knew that we had to purchase a vacation home in this magical place! We immediately saw the potential of The Beach Barn when we first toured it. It was a big leap of faith to purchase a fixer upper for 4.5 hours away from home but we went for it! Mike and his oldest son Mikey lived in the home for 6 months during the remodel and drove back and forth to help out with the design and we just loved how it turned out.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This home was thoughtfully decorated to bring some of the outdoors in. We used colors that we saw in the natural landscape and added the pelican artwork and fun little whale and fish items. We used reclaimed wood for the dining table and headboard in the downstairs room. We gathered up driftwood from the beach to create the driftwood mirror in the upstairs bathroom. We wanted people to enjoy their stay and rest their heads in a little luxury style beach house that looks like a barn!
