Welcome to the Curlew Dome! Our earth dome house is welcome to all looking for a quiet and undisturbed rest from the hustle and grind of life.


This is a great home base for hunting, fishing, hiking, and more around Curlew and the Republic area.


Enjoy the scenic trail to the hilltop, offering stunning views of Curlew Lake, surrounding mountains, and the valley, not to mention the restful ample parking.
The space
Just off the back parking lot, we have a mudroom entrance shaped like an igloo with space to take off your shoes and hang up your coats.


The hallway ends in an open-plan living room and kitchen area with luxury features such as 15-foot-high ceilings, a chandelier, and stone lights


The large fully equipped kitchen includes a waterfall island bar that serves as a dining room table with seating for 4 people, and a place to put drinks and food.


Nestled by the large windows with a view of the valley, the living room includes a large couch with an ottoman.


We have a wonderful master bedroom featuring:


King-sized bed

2-night stands

Dresser and a coat hanger

Master bathroom with a uniquely shaped tub and a rain shower for maximum relaxation.


You will find the second bathroom in the hallway, as well as the guest room/TV room, which features:


Comfortable Queen-sized convertible futon couch bed (it accommodates 2 people)

Amazing property. Very clean and everything was organized. Outdoor and views were amazing. We saw plenty of wildlife which was very unique and beautiful.

What a beautiful house! Quiet and relaxing with magnificent views of the area. No hot tub though if that is a must for you, the listing did note a hot tub as an amenity. Great place to spend quality time with the family.

Excellent Stay at the Dome House

We enjoyed our stay. Great location, beautiful views. The Dome house is well stocked with all the essentials and fun extras like a great LP collection which we really enjoyed! The trail to the top of hill was a fun little hike with fantastic views from the top and great wildflower viewing. Loved our stay!

This is our second stay at this property. It is centrally located between Curlew and Republic with a beautiful view of Lake Curlew and the surrounding hills. We will be back!

This is a great unique house with a lot to offer for the price / plenty big for 4 people. It’s only minutes to both resorts which we were at with friends / great option if you dint want to “rough it” at the campgrounds / cabins there. Zach was avail anytime I texted him and house was everything expected plus - little trail goes up to top of rock next to it with picnic table on top for views of entire lake / valleys - great sunset cocktail or sunrise coffee House is well stocked with everything you really need - bonus bottle of red wine too with popcorn We had a few days of smoke and hot weather - this house has foot thick concrete walls with earth covering (I’ve never felt so safe ) - if there was no smoke opening the kitchen window in morning cools it down for rest of the day - with the smoke having a small portable AC unit or mini split AC would be awesome - only improvement I could offer - it’s wasn’t a deal breaker just used to AC The value for the money really is outstanding and we would stay again % -Thanks! Must stay in Republic

Excellent experience in this lovely and unique home just north of Republic, WA. Beautiful location with view of Lake Curlew and a savanna territorial outlook. Well stocked kitchen with nice amenities throughout the house. We will stay here anytime we return to visit Republic.

Curlew Fam Visit

This was a lovely property that served as our launching pad for daily visits to our extended family living at the top of a mountain just outside of Curlew. Easy access on and off the Highway. Will be back!

Peaceful Country Getaway

Perfect home base for exploring the Republic/Curlew/Sherman Pass region. Private and peaceful with convenient access to the lake and close enough to Republic to get supplies. I recommend taking the path to the high point on the property, there are lots of wildflowers and amazing views with some large ponderosa pines and Douglas firs. The interior was interesting, comfortable, modern and clean.

Unique find close to Republic

I'll admit the pictures lured me in, bathtub and all, and I'm so glad they did! The main room is spectacular, light filled and roomy. The second bedroom was a bit tight for our 2 kids, but the couch and ottoman made for an extra comfy spot. Having access to 2 bathrooms and washer/dryer after a day fossil hunting is just an added bonus to the benefits of the Earth Dome House.

We had a fun girls trip. Very clean accommodation's. The view is amazing! We sat outside and watched the deer across the way. The kitchen had everything we needed. A very unique place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Communication with Zachary was excellent. You have to take the short hike to the top of the dome and get the full effect of the view! Oh, and our first night we listened to LP’s on the record player. That was a fun surprise! I plan on returning for a get away with my husband.

Fossil Digging

My brother and I came over to try and find fossils. Our stay at the house had only one downside. The couch in the TV room was considered a second bed but it was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this house as a 2 bedroom sleeps 4 unless you specifically state the second bed is a fold down sofa and not a hide a bed or futon. I stay was great except for this one fact.
