Couple's Cabin in Somerset

Enjoy a couple’s getaway at our Sweetheart Cabin! This studio style cabin is located in Somerset, PA just minutes away from Hidden Valley Resort and Kooser State Park. Cozy up indoors by the fireplace, or explore our outdoor amenities including a spacious deck, hot tub, fire pit, and grill! The Sweetheart Cabin is tucked away off Route 31 so year-round access is possible even in the snowy months.

Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2700 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from Nov 1-March 31st. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

The cabin was nice a cozy and well maintained. Hot tub was awesome, and had a little roof over it to protect from elements. Very pretty location close to kooser state park and other parks in area.

This was my second stay at the sweetheart cabin and I was absolutely tickled to see that a roof was added above the hot tub! Great place to visit!

Just what we needed for our anniversary weekend! Such a peaceful and relaxing stay! Very clean and well taken care of inside. Only thing that would be recommended is to have the area outside the building next door cleaned up somewhat since it so close to the cabin.

This is the most adorable cozy little cabin that I’ve ever seen! We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect to relax and unwind. I would love to return in October when the leaves change!

Relaxing

It's a cozy well kept beutiful place .loved the cozy feeling ,has everything you need to stay.the Jacuzzi is great.the woods in the back ,give you that nature feeling.we saw finches, chipmunk , squirrels,and a groundhog,it's so romantic here and quite.everything is close if you wanna go out also very clean,we met the owners and Dave and Cathy are very nice people.and any issues everyone responds quickly.we have stayed many places ,but this has been the best yet .

Quick stay

We stayed at the sweetheart cabin for two nights to ski at Seven Springs. Overall the experience was great, the cabin has everything needed to relax and enjoy yourself.

Nice little getaway right outside if Pittsburgh

Great little place, nice location and the owner and lease manager were both great to work with. Definitely recommend a 4WD car if you are planning on bad weather!

Romantic Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. My fiance and I stayed here when in town for a snowboarding trip to nearby Seven Springs and Hidden Valley. The property was exactly as described. Cozy and rustic. The hot tub was a huge bonus. Hosts communicated instructions very well prior to arrival and made our check in and stay easy and stress free. We plan to be back at some point in the future.

Flight 93 weekend.

I needed rest and relaxation from my job. It was a cute cabin were me and my husband totally relaxed and enjoyed our time. Meet the host, very nice and asked if we needed anything. Recommend this stay!

Getaway for our Anniversary

The property was great, it’s cozy with a great deck on back, we ate breakfast outside every morning. Centrally located in Laurel Highlands, it was a resonable distance from Fallingwater and Flight 93 memorial, waterfalls and covered bridges. Owners responded promptly to questions and were friendly and helpful.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

This property is adorable and upgraded for your comfort. We came in the beginning of March and enjoyed a clean and beautiful hottub with a nice forest view, and were nice and warm cuddled up on the couch or bed watching a movie before bed. Lots of walling trails, waterfalls and parks to see. We love it! We look forward to coming back during another season to enjoy again! Thank you!
