The house is beautiful. We had plenty of seating in the living room and dining room table. It was also nice to have a charcoal grill outside as well. The pool was clean and the hot tub was amazing. Very secluded area and the wifi worked very well. Seen deer and turkey while we stayed and heard the whipperwills at night time.

We had an incredible trip at Bear Valley Bliss! Within only 20 minutes of being there, A black bear walked right by the cabin! It was so cool to see one in person for the first time. That was the only one we saw the whole trip. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We loved watching the rain from the decks and porch. Late nights playing pool and card games, swimming in the pool. And relaxing in the hot tub and on the couch watching our favorite tv shows. 10000% would recommend and would come back to this cabin!

Listing says pool is heated but the water was cold and the room was heated not the water. Other than that everything else was listed correctly. Also note that when you get the code for the property make sure you screen shot it because you have no reception on the mountain to check emails and will have to go back down the mountain to get reception.

Hi Jodi! Thank you for providing some constructive feedback. The note about getting a screenshot of the door code in advance is a good idea. I added that suggestion to our check-in day message. We also provide the guest Wi-Fi code in advance so it is ready upon arrival. Did you see the note in the listing about the pool being heated to 84 degrees? After inquiring about your experience the day after check-in, I never heard any concerns about the pool temperature during your stay, just afterwards now in this review. I wish we had an opportunity to know about that concern and help you in the moment. The pool is intentionally heated to 84 degrees for maximum cleanliness, as recommended by our professional pool cleaning/maintenance crew. We have a thermometer above the refrigerator so guests can check it during their stay. We appreciate your booking and look forward to the opportunity to ensure your expectations are met or exceeded in the future!

The house was great and was as described in the listing. Very clean and spacious. There was soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided in the bathrooms and dish detergent provided in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels provided for each person. The pool was a nice addition to our stay with several floats provided. There was a nice size full bathroom off the pool room with plenty of towels provided for drying off when coming out of the pool. From booking through check out communication with the host was very timely and fluid. I never had to wait very long for an answer to any of my messages.I would definitely book with this host again in the future.

Hi Perry! I'm surprised to see your sub-5 star feedback. We checked in with you multiple times during your stay and never heard any concerns about the pool, nor anything else. You sent us a message saying "it's wonderful..yall have been great". We mention in the listing that the pool is set to a temperature of 86 degrees for maximum cleanliness, which can seem cool to swimmers. It is disappointing to see that we received a 3 star rating from you and never knew you had any unmet expectations. In retrospect, I wish communication would have been better so we could have had an opportunity to try to help you. We are not always able to do this, but we allowed you to do early check in at no additional cost too. I'm sure the level of cleanliness and quality of our cabin were at or above your standards, as we consistently get positive feedback about that. We appreciate your reservation and hope to be able to host you again in the future!
