The Mountain Rose
Looking for adventure or quiet time with your family and friends; you will surely enjoy this comfortable family friendly, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Jim Thorpe. Minutes away from memorable places to visit.
Enjoy a BBQ on the deck in the evening, watching the stars come out or cozy up by the fire pit in the twilight. Home is not in a private community. Owner lives on site but guest privacy is priority. Advantage of owner living on site; questions and situations arising are handled quickly.
The kitchen, which is fully equipped with cookware, bakeware, utensils, place setting for 12, glassware, oven/stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, refrigerator/ freezer with ice machine, general spice rack.
The owner has two small dogs that have full access to the enclosed rear yard. The guest have full access to the front yard.
There is PRIVATE PARKING on the premises for 3 vehicles. There is a padlock on front door.

I have only been hosting since July 1st 2023. I have been enjoying meeting all the wonderful guest. It is nice seeing kids outside playing and family and friends getting together laughing and spending time with each other.

I have lived in Jim Thorpe since 2009. It is a wonderful town filled with so much history. The area I live in is peaceful and private. If you want to do it, you probably will find it here in Jim Thorpe and close by towns. From shopping, touring historic places, camping, hiking, biking, skiing, rafting. concerts, swimming, paintball, train rides. Most activities and entertainment is within less then a mile to 20 miles away from where I live and share my attached home to guest.
The summer months allows you to enjoy the outdoors from a simple walk to high active adventure.
The fall provides us with the best fall foliage display you can imagine. many local farms providing pumpkin picking with festivals.
During the Christmas season downtown Jim Thorpe decorates beautifully. As you walk from shop to shop looking for unique gifts for your family and friends, you will enjoy hearing the carolers singing dressed in period clothing.
During the winter months when you just need to get out of the house. There are many ski resorts near by. The local shops are open year round. Penn's Peak and the Opera House have concerts featuring your favorite artist.

I take pride in my home. I enjoy the beauty of my flower garden and constantly improving. I like providing a home for my guest. I would like for you to walk in and find all the things you might have in your own home, Feel at home and have fun. I do not have video games for my guest instead Sit down with you kiddos and play a board game. Go outside and play in the yard or simply enjoy the town's amenities.
