Cette maison magnifiquement mise à jour a été entièrement rénovée de fond en comble. Les deux chambres ont chacune un lit King. Il y a 2 salles de bain complètes. La chambre familiale est en fait une 3ème chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit gigogne. Le salon comprend une belle cheminée en pierre, une cuisine entièrement équipée qui donne accès à une grande terrasse privée pour se détendre et un barbecue. La maison est entièrement équipée pour vos besoins de vacances. Il y a le wifi à la maison et un accès à la jetée de l’Association des propriétaires (la clé pour accéder à la jetée est à la maison, 200 $ en cas de perte). House est situé à proximité du réseau de pistes cyclables et de la zone de loisirs de Kaspian. Non loin de Sunnyside Resort, du domaine skiable de Homewood, du West Shore Cafe, du Firesign Cafe et des marchés locaux du West Shore. * Doit avoir 4 roues motrices et des pneus neige pour accéder à cette maison en hiver.

Lovely cabin

Our family of 5 stayed here and had a great time. The cabin was so cute and clean. We enjoyed the variety of board games and two fireplaces. We had the kids stay downstairs and we were upstairs. Nice when they can have their own space! The peek of the lake through the trees from the second floor kitchen/dining area was such a nice way to enjoy coffee before skiing for the day!

Nice Cabin

Our first time in Homewood and that’s actually a nice area with everything close by, our cabin was perfect with all the amenities you need for a family trip our last night we heard some creepy sounds and steps upstairs we thought there was somebody but no body was there it would definitely be better if some of the main windows have curtains at night so people don’t see you at night but other than that everything was fine

Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was located in a great area with easy access to shops and nearby restaurants. The cabin was clean and roomy for the 4 of us. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of supplies to use although we did not cook due to our short stay. We will be back again.

Clean. Kitchen cookwear and dishes abundant. There is enough room to sleep 7 to 8 but there are only 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bdrm has a TV and additional fireplace. Nice view and deck.

Fun at the Brown House

The house is in the perfect location, especially if you rent a ski boat from Homewood. Nice that adult bedroom is separate from the kid floor below. The deck and grill are both positives! Saw a giant bear one morning while on a run at 7am, but it is Tahoe, after all. :)

Great cabin but difficulties checking in

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself was perfect & home-y. However, in order to receive check in code, I needed to sign a document which was supposed to be emaied to me. I had a busy work week and missed that I was supposed to do this. In addition, the doc was never emailed to me in the first place. I did not realize this until 5pm on Friday as I was trying to check in. The cabin check in time is 4pm and the rental office closes at 4:30. There is a 30 minute window where you could get help if needed. I called the back-up number provided twice and they could not help, only forward my request to check in to another agency who was supposed to email me back. My brother luckily guessed the lock code on the pin pad. If he had not done that, we would not have had a place to stay. It is now 2 weeks after my stay and I still have not received the follow up email which was supposed to be sent from the phone calls I made the day of check in. I could have averted the situation by filling out the docs in advance but around the holidays with work, it slipped my mind. I do think the management company running for a vacation rental business should have after hours and weekend support considering that is when most guests need it. The cabin itself was a great stay - clean, cute, & cozy. I would recommend the cabin but not the management company.

Great experience

The cabin is close to the lake and parks where you can go enjoy the snow! We stayed during thanksgiving and there was plenty of snow! The views before arriving to the cabin are also spectacular. The cabin was clean and specious with 2 big beds and 2 small ones. The only bad thing about the stay was that we could not stay longer!

Great rental!

Conveniently located on the west side of the lake, which allowed easy access to activities on both the north and south side of the lake. Far more peaceful location than staying in South Lake. Loved the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

Great woodsy location and deck

Enjoyed four days here, well equipped kitchen and the deck was great for meals and cocktails. Comfy bed, and we only used the upstairs, but the downstairs would be great for kids or a second family. Living room carpet needed cleaning otherwise a nice rental with quick lake access.

Good things, Bad things

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks. On day 2, I contacted the management people about a few things. I asked for an additional skillet - one was warped so badly it would not sit on the burner and the handle was loose, the other skillet was quite large and badly scorched. We asked for a fan (there was one in the upstairs area) for our guests who slept downstairs. I asked for additional shampoo and body wash ( the bottles said "save for guests", so I assumed they were providing the shampoo and body wash. Each bottle had about 1/4 inch of product in it.) The bottles of hand soap at all sinks were watered down. The management company totally blew me off. We received none of the above. Furthermore, the management never called to check if we had what we needed (I guess I know why). We have rented for 3 weeks in Tahoe for the past 5 years - ALWAYS the owner calls to check on us about mid-way through. Next, the info on VRBO says "updated". I find that hard to believe. The couch upstairs is incredibly uncomfortable. The linens on the upstairs bed are atrocious - flannel sheets that are badly pilling. The positive here is that I don't need to get exfoliation on any part of my body for some time. There was not a single dishcloth to use - only one sponge which I really dislike. In the kitchen, there were 5 wineglasses; the place sleeps 6 adults. The cleanliness was good in places like the bathrooms and kitchen area. However, there was debris under the tv cabinet and also along the edge of the carpet under the dining table. I noted this throughout the house - the center of rooms was vacuumed but the edges were grimy. Probably the worst thing was the condition of the carpet in the upstairs. Really dirty and stained. We habitually take our shoes off before going into a house - we do this at our own home and at rentals as well. After the first 2 days, I wore my shoes into the house - the carpet gave me the willies about what might be imbedded there. Positives: The deck is great. Nice outdoor dining table and 4 good chairs. 4 really nice Adirondack chairs on the deck as well. The grill worked fine. The mattresses on both kings were good and comfortable. Good hot water and good water pressure. The dishwasher worked well. There were lots of towels. I'm doubtful I would rent here again. I'd say it's just OK. Which is not good enough for the cost of this property.

My sister, mom, and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. The cabin is so well catered to renters, and extremely comfortable. Skyland is our favorite neighborhood on the West shore, and this home was just the ticket! We will be back, if you’ll have us :) Thank you!
