Cozy Carriage House Apartment on Horse Farm

Studio apartment in the heart of the vineyards and apple farms on the east side of Ellijay. Mulitple tasting rooms and apple houses are just minutes away.

Property is a working farm with chickens, goats and horses. Fresh eggs are included (if the chickens cooperate during your stay).

Guest are welcome to relax and enjoy the long range valley and mountain views from the front porch of the main farmhouse or relax by the firepit after a day of exploring Ellijay.

Perfect anniversary getaway. Awesome location for all the activities we took part in. From the orchards to ciderys and zip lining to the Atlanta motorway, the house was in the best location. Wake up and enjoy coffee and the horses.

Quiet getaway

Just off the main road from a multitude of apple orchards and cideries, but far back enough to be totally tranquil, the carriage house was a quiet paradise. The hosts were fast to respond to questions and super inviting. I'm so glad we got the chance to stop and talk before we left and to meet the baby chicks!

Cozy and clean

This is a great property and I would totally book this place again. The hosts are super nice. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching all the horses and goats.

Peaceful Perfection

This place is everything it said it would be and more. We absolutely loved everything about it. The place is peaceful, relaxing, clean, spacious, and has all the comforts of home. The hosts Greg and Mary Margaret were very nice and helpful with anything we needed. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. We were there to enjoy hiking in the area and the fall foliage. We cooked farm fresh eggs from their chickens every morning. We had everything we needed. They have free range chickens, dogs, cats, goats, and horses. You can interact with the horses and goats through the fence anytime you want. The brown horse (Bo) is very sweet and friendly and he loves to be pet. Be sure to sit on the porch and take in the beautiful view.

Restful and Serene

With the view of the rolling hills from the front porch to the quiet and peaceful studio apartment, we enjoyed every moment. We had everything we needed including apples and farm fresh eggs, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and horses, goats and chickens for company. We had a camp fire and plenty of open space for my astrophotography hobby. The studio and the farm exceeded out expectations. Our host family was right there anytime we needed something or to just answer questions about the best place to explore. We will be back!

Sweet perfect spot

Such a great place to stay if you are wanting to be near Elijay. The property has a beautiful view to the right and is also so close to apple orchards. The owners were nice and helpful. They left some personal touches in the place which we appreciated. The place was clean and very well kept. I would not recommend if you have trouble walking up steps as it is an upstairs apartment. Peaceful and perfect. Hope to be back one day.
