Good and BAD! PLEASE READ THIS! Good:-Comfy and clean beds-Cozy living room-Great location-Interesting layout, small kitchen but worked just fine. BAD:-dishwasher is disgustingly dirty and doesn’t even work. We hand washed everything before and after using them. When we went to town we bought paper goods to use. -MOUSE poop/pee in countertop utensil holder! -Cleaning supplies not provided so we bought our own. Had to scour all surfaces to feel good enough to use the kitchen. -Kitchen cabinets/drawers were dirty and had mouse poop in them. -Shower liners were dark yellow, nasty and smelled.-Ice melt wasn’t provided, even with a 4 wheel drive we slid badly. You aren’t allowed to park at the bottom of the driveway. It was a little stressful.-Septic issue? Main bath smells horribly of urine when the shower is used. -Used tissues (3 of them) on the floor in main bedroom when arrived, very easily noticed so wondering if floors were cleaned between stays?-dead mouse in upstairs bedroom cabinet
.-firewood is not provided. Bring your own. Overall we had a good time and stayed warm. We made due with what we experienced and didn’t let it ruin our time. I did not want to leave a bad review because I’m aware that all the issues/health hazards can be fixed but felt I deserved some type of compensation for the issues. When I asked for a partial refund I was told no. No clue if things actually got fixed or changed so if you go, just be prepared.

Everything was really good. There was lots of sleeping options whether you had lots of adults or kids or both. The elevation was just a little higher then town so there was snow when the Leavenworth switched to rain.

Summer weekend

Decided to celebrate my birthday in Leavenworth. Booked this last minute. The house is exactly as described. Only negative is a lot of stairs.

Very nice house but..

Older home without central air. They have a box AC unit that trips the circuit breaker when in use, and another AC unit that blew hot and cold air at the same time. The living room stayed around 80-83 degrees until the sun came down and was almost unbearable. Other than the cooling issue, we loved the home and communication with the owners was great! Very close to the reindeer farm!

Cozy Cabin Outside of Town

The location was spectacular! If you are looking for a cabin getaway in the woods, this is a good fit for you. Please do understand that this is a cabin not a 5-star resort so there are aged appliances with the occasional cobweb in the corners and an overall cabin-y feel. If this is what you are going for, you will greatly enjoy your time!

Thank you for sharing your cabin! My youngest son enjoyed all the levels of the house. We all enjoyed the view and exploring Leavenworth.

Quaint

It would have been nice, to have the patio and deck Swift, or blown off prior to our arrival. Some of the blinds wouldn’t go up or down and some of the burners on the stove did not work. I went to iron a shirt and the iron did not work. Just little things but overall a very nice day.

This was great for a large family group. Very comfortable, plenty of sleeping areas without feeling crowded. Peaceful and cozy for relaxing and enjoying time with our group, and a short drive to enjoy downtown Leavenworth.

Great Location!

We had a great stay and the location was everything. Yes the cabin is a little outdated but I wasn't there for a brand new house, I was barely inside to begin with. It had everything we needed and that is what matters.

There was garbage on the outside around the property and wasn’t very clean. Several areas in the cabin needed repair (ie) two elements in the stove did not work and the oven took long to heat up. Overall, not great value for money.

One year old has flea bites

The house was as expected, location was great, but loading a one year old up with itch cream all weekend wasn’t ideal. We are assuming the fleas are in the carpet since she slept in a toddler blow up bed on the floor, and my best guess is fleas but I’m not 100% positive. I’m sure we will have to bomb our home, it would be a miracle if we didn’t end up bringing them home with us. We also have a dog that didn’t come with us but will most likely need treated as well.

Cozy and close to Leavenworth

Great cabin to stay if you are doing any activities near Leavenworth. It’s quite and has plenty of room for sleeping. It was perfect for our group to stay at while hiking the enchantments trail. The host was great to work with and we would stay there again.

This was a great place, it had several beds and is a good choice if you're bringing a family or friends group in. The layout of the cabin was unique :)

Great Location but Dated Interior

We arrived with a little difficulty in finding the location Maurine was able to help us locate the cabin. The location is wonderful and the beds are very comfortable.. The cabin interior was dated and dingy and needed some updating. The kitchen cabinets need some repainting but the kitchen is well equipped. The outside deck on the main levels needs some pain, but it was a great place to sit once it cooled off.. With a little effort this could be a first class location and cabin.
