Welcome to "MI Casa Su Casa" where you will feel at home while enjoying local beaches, rivers, trails, local attractions, and nearby small towns. Picture yourself just minutes from multiple Lake Michigan beach access points, Empire, Frankfort, Glenn Arbor and the Sleepy Bear Dunes. Multiple golf courses, hiking trails, river paddling and floating, biking, dining and shopping within minutes.
30 minutes to Traverse City, and 30 minutes to Manistee (Casinos) or if you prefer relaxing on the porch or sunning in the chair on the deck, this place is for you! You will love exploring the lake shore and M22. Sunsets at dusk and star gazing.
Spacious four-bedroom, two full baths chalet style home sleeps 10 guests comfortably. AC and Wi-Fi.
Lower bedroom has two queen beds and a sauna for unwinding, and an exterior door. Master bedroom has queen bed, master bath and walk in closet. Upstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed. This property has fire pit and two car garage/gathering space with tables, chairs and mini fridge. Large parking area. Spacious yard with some wooded acres, on a country road for walking and biking.

A great place to enjoy Northern Michigan. Close to Honor and Sleeping Bear Dunes, it’s an easy drive to get around. The house was well appointed. The kitchen has all the gadgets, including a full sized coffee maker, a bonus. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We had a great stay, it’s close to a lot of local golf courses and we used that to our advantage!

Weekend trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes area

The house was perfect! It was very clean and comfortable. It has the feel of being in a secluded area being surrounded by woods. It's location was perfect for various types of activities in multiple towns/locations. Highly recommend!

Quiet family stay

We had an excellent time staying in this home, a cozy stay for the whole family. The owners were responsive to messages and everything went very smoothly. The home itself is nestled away from other homes and businesses and makes it a relaxing retreat. There are tall trees surrounding the home and the sound of leaves rustling will lull you to sleep. It was about a 20 minute drive to activities in the area.

Great location and property

Was a phenomenal stay with my friends. A couple mins from the beach and a short drive to the dunes. Wonderful home and open property for plenty of activities which comfortably fit the ten of us. Would happily come back again

Sleeping Bear Dunes vacation

The property was very clean. Excellent space, larger and nicer than the pictures indicate. The kitchen was spacious but could have used a few more pans, baking sheets and utensils. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Great sleeping bear getaway

Very clean and expansive property with room for kids to roam and enjoy s‘mores by the fire. House was perfect for access to Sleeping Bear Lakeshore and area sights. 10 minute drive to Platte River and Lake Michigan. Cam was a great host and super responsive. Would stay here again.

Spacious and clean

We were able to get in a little early. Cam was so accommodating. The nature is wonderful and it’s not too far away from grocery stores. It was super close to the water and trails also. It was a wonderful weekend getaway. Would highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Convenient peaceful location for seeing all the great sites up north. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Nice fire pit area with plenty of wood. Porch overlooking yard to watch hummingbirds while sipping the morning coffee was cozy. The house was very clean and has nicely updated bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall a great place to stay for our weekend getaway.

Family friendly privacy with loads of space

Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!

Great Space for large family or group

Got the chance to run into the owners Cam & Emily before check in. Super cool and chill couple. They give me a tour and made themselves available should we need anything during our stay. Will definitely book with them again. Every one in the group loved the house. (even my picky sister-in-law lol) Super spacious and clean.

Highly Recommended

Can't beat the location. Cottage was great overall. Nicely decorated. Plenty of room. Had everything we needed. Nice bonfire pit. Cottage did smell like they might have a dog but they had plug in air fresheners. Only thing that could be improved upon were the beds/mattresses/pillows. Not the most comfortable. But we'd stay here again, especially if those were updated. Owner was very nice and responsive. We all had a great time!

Great location and clean property with great service

This property is located within minutes drive to all that sleeping bear dunes has to offer including beautiful beaches, Glen lake, plate lake, Crystal lake etc
 great hikes and dune climb nearby, Kayaking , biking
 house was clean and comfortable with good wifi. Very private. Cam the owner, went out of his way to help us more than once , and was always available to assist with any issue. He even personally escorted us by car to the house when we couldn’t find it on Waze! Highly recommend this property if you are staying in this area.

Unfortunate lack of disclosure

Hello Cam, On Monday July 8, 2024 I received medical clearance to travel . Ellen and I reached out to the Berkes to let them know that we would join them at your vacation home on Wednesday July 10, 2024 ,which we had rented from you and paid for well in advance. Michael informed me that you had a conversation with them and told them that the additional bedroom, which is located upstairs, would not be safe for our use because the access stairs to the bedroom were steep and dangerous and the bathroom which would be used at night was located downstairs. Michael then inspected and confirmed that. Your statement surprised me since in my email to you of June 16, 2024 I informed you that the Berkes and we had been friends for 60 years, indicating that we are all elderly. You did not warn me then of the condition of the house and that your practice was to rent to families and groups having younger people. The purpose in renting your vacation rental was for the four of us , Berkes and Kaplans, to be together. Your home is advertised on VERBO as sleeping 10 people. NO comments or warnings by you or VRBO limiting the use of the home are made in your advertisement on VERBO. Had you told me by replying to my June 16th email either by response email, telephone call or text, I had plenty of time to cancel our rental ( by June 23, 2024) and receive a full refund. Instead , you remained silent and kept our money. We were ready on July 8, 2024 to use your premises but it was not suita
