Perfect place near Hocking College to help get my daughter oriented to the area before she starts in a couple weeks. It was perfect for our family with enough space!

Hocking Hills Hiking Trip

This home was a great home-base for our hiking trip. We walked into town for coffee in the mornings and dinner in the evenings. It was easy to get to the hiking trails. The home was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again!

Nice house

We enjoyed our two nights at the house. It was clean, spacious, and in walking distance to restaurants and bars. While the outside of the house looked a little old, the inside has nice updates and was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

What a lovely house! Very updated and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Only reason for 4 stars was that the internet was not working and did not get addressed during our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, and just 1 block from downtown. We were close to all of the attractions, especially the tubing!Thanks for the stay

Winter Getaway

This is a charming old house that was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed a dinner at Rhapsody restaurant that was a 5 minute walk into town. The restaurant is staffed by the culinary students from the college in town. Hiking trails in Hocking Hills were between 20-30 minutes. The only cliché was that the Wi-Fi was out for our two night stay but we made it work. We will definitely come back.

We loved the amount of room in the house. Its an older home with natural wood throughout and nicely updated bathrooms. Windows are older and 2 of the rooms dont have shades, only curtains that didnt always block out street lights. We appreciated that the Neighborhood was quiet. We were disappointed and inconvenienced by the dryer not drying. The yard had long grass that was definately in need of mowing. The long private driveway was nice. There was nice living spaces for 4-8 people. We needed to purchase spices, olive oil for meal prep and we had to use bathroom towels for use in kitchen. Refrigerator and freezer worked well. Stronger water pressure in Full Bathroom shower would’ve been nicer but it was adequate. All said-it was a nice place for visiting Hocking Hills. Be prepared to get take out meals from Logan or make your own food-not many restaurant choices in Nelsonville. We appreciated the subtle decor of house. The mattresses and pillows were good (but not luxury). We would rent this again if in the area. Thanks
