Relaxing quiet home with wood burning fireplace you can enjoy with family or friends. Connect to Bluetooth speakers in house for a quality sound of music or your own tunes on the piano. Basement is currently under construction but the shower bath is functional. Just enjoy the of waterfall and read a book. Privacy fence around rear yard for your smoking pleasure. You're only a couple of miles from a lot of fine dining and dancing , quality art and more on the Avenue of Fashions (7 mile /& Livernois). Also, only 10 minutes from downtown Detroit where there is plenty to do. Enjoy the river walk and more.

Perfect location and close to the city

Pretty awesome stay!

Communication with property manager was excellent. Kitchen could be better organized in terms of organization of items. We loved the charm of the place. We would stay here again!

Affordable and practical

We had a great time staying here. From booking to check-in to checkout everything was great. Denise has great communication and was very easy to work with. If we ever get back to visit again I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Definitely worth the price but VRBO in progress

This worked great for us! Close to Henry Ford Museum. Nice and clean with comfortable beds. Definitely still being renovated, but we didn't mind overlooking it.

Great location with plenty of beds!

We arrived from a 9 hour car ride and we were able to walk in, relax and head to sleep. Comfy beds! Polite and friendly neighbors. Good host communication. It's not the Carlton Ritz, but its more than what's needed for a quick few day stay

Awesome

Denise is by far the coolest host I’ve ever had! She was really easy to communicate with and our group accidentally set the fire alarm off and she was more concerned about our health than her own house! Absolutely awesome, I would definitely stay here again.

NFL Draft Trip

The house was great for what we needed. We had 12 people and everyone could sleep comfortably. There was plenty of space and very clean. The only thing missing was a few household items like pot holders, etc but other than that it had everything we needed!

Great stay in Detroit

This is a great property for families with children. The upstairs rooms had two beds per room and the kids loved it! The beds were very comfy and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The property is very close to the highway with easy access to downtown. The neighbors were super friendly and there was plenty of room for parking. I felt like I lived there as soon as I got there! Thank you Denise for the perfect stay! It was waaaayyy better than a hotel!

Meets your needs

This is the first property I have stayed in where someone lives there the rest of the time. With a lot of family members arriving at different times, letting everyone know what we brought and what was already there was a challenge. (sorry for missing waters host) There was an awful lot of mirrors around. House was very clean, host was very responsive. Parking is limited. 2 small cars off street maybe. Street was pretty full for other parking, and our giant truck was a bit big for the older city lot spacing. Large clean fluffy towels provided at all beds, in all the rooms. Kitchen was a bit of a struggle.

The host was very nice. The house was outdated and had holes in the floors. The stairs leading to upstairs had a crack in the very first stair. There was NO tissue in the house just a half roll as well as paper towels.

Adequate but needs some work

This has the potential to be a great rental...very friendly host who responds quickly, clean, comfy beds, lots of beds, good price. However, the house needs some work. The second bathroom is in the basement and isn't completely finished. A/C is only window air conditioners in 2 of the bedrooms. Kitchen needs some work. We aren't fussy so our stay was fine. We would say this property is adequate. If you are looking for somewhere inexpensive for a large family, this may be your place.

Weekend Stay

When we booked we were told that the kitchen was still under construction but the whole house really is. The beds were nice & comfortable. When we arrived we didn’t have no tissue, paper towels, trash bags, & barely any hand soap. The host said she would bring some out she NEVER showed up to the house. Complained a little about how cold it was in the house for my family and nothing was done about it the heat gag is locked up. Over the host gave us free wine to drink that was there already. The neighbor is great and close to downtown. Nice size for big families.

House of horrors!

This house has major safety issues, not to mention the filth. My family and I left immediately. From the wires hanging out the walls, to the exposed light switches, to hair covering the couches, dirty towels on the handrails, a used bar of soap on the tub. ( * I have photos and videos to document everything I am saying.) The owner refused to return our money. Thank goodness VRBO after seeing the pictures assissted our family with finding a hotel that was clean and safe. If there was an option to add the photos here I would. We came to town to bury my mom, this house situation made a hard situation worse.
